Thinking of getting mapping done by ktec - works out about 300 quid. On completely standard car, was going to put in the rollers anyway just to see how many horses its lost anyway so thought might swell get it a map done. Any thoughts on remaps in general or ktec specifically? Cheers

I had the same problem mate, my warranty only covers catastrophic failure, so so long as it actually still works and drives its not covered basally! warrantys tend to be a scam other than main dealer ones

quick progress update: -steering arm replaced after steering knock (No noise anymore and steering way sharper) -'box oil changed after 4th gear crunch (NFJ - Solved issues) -4 new Contis (against most peoples opinions!)

getting some new plates made up tomorrow from a main dealer for 18 quid plus fixings but was hoping to stick them as i hate the look of bolts on the plate - anyone know a good way of doing this? Cheers

Mine has a crunch in 4th generally going down the box quickly but sometimes up, as said only at high revs and quick changes though. 07 reg with 45k on the clock

Cars going into the garage anyway so thought id get the 'box oil done, thinking RED LINE Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant MTL 75W-80 GL4 ? How much labour should I expect to pay? Would rather let the garage to do it than myself tbh. Cheers
