    RS200 Racing Blue

Yer, the previous owner drilled out the airbox to increase airflow I guess. Not sure if there are any downsides.. Thanks, yer I applied some about 6 months ago not sure I left enough time for it to cure the first time round. The beading is brilliant despite that. Next few weeks we will see...

    RS200 Racing Blue

Yer just up the road and only £5. I'd say a good way to spend a Sunday if the suns out.

Yer i'm not sure why they were only fitted to the rear.. More likely to have the wheel bearings go putting the mass further out. I'l remove them :thumb:

    RS200 Racing Blue

Yer it needs to be compliant enough for the roads as they seem to get worse. I would be interested to see if we could get enough people interested in a group buy for the Bilstein?

Bilstein B14 coilovers vs H&R Springs

Hey, I know from reading through various threads the Bilstein B14 are quite popular. There on offer at Ktec for £678 at the moment. Currently running non-Cup dampers with 30mm H&R lowering springs. If anyone can share there experience that would be really helpful. If there worth it I will look...

    RS200 Racing Blue

Thanks man. The previous owner fitted 30mm H&R springs, sits really nice, it's a bit crashy at times but lovely and flat in the corners. Debating if the cost of the Bilstein B14 is worth the money..

    RS200 Racing Blue

Bit of TLC for the RS this week. Had a couple days off work so made the most of it. Used Claybar then Fusso coat 99 sealent followed by dodo juice Carnauba wax. It then snowed today.. A few plans for the summer pending funds include: Full service - Pollen filter - Oil filter - Spark Plugs -...

MS 200 fun road and track car - and other car stuff!

Cracking read and great review on the Koni suspension kit with H&R springs. Originally I planned on buying a set of Bilstein B14 coilovers but based on being able to soften the dampers off these sounds like a great choice, especially if there is a costing saving as well.. Can I ask where you...

New here looking for audio advice

Yer there a decent bit of kit, I got somebody to fit mine as I wasn't confident fitting the tweeters or crossovers without messing it up aha. Yer 26Mpg is laughable really :tearsofjoy: my car didn't have any tweeters fitted as standard, they had the wiring for them though so just fitted them...

New here looking for audio advice

I fitted a pair of Focal 130AS components to mine with an Alpine head unit and a bit of sound deadening in the doors, I have standard speakers in the back. Sounds great! I get to where I am going and just carry on listening to my music for a bit :tearsofjoy:, more than enough base with these...

    RS200 Racing Blue

Thanks Ben. It's a 90mm sticker, rubbed the surface down after painting, put the sticker on and then clear coat over the top.

    RS200 Racing Blue

Decided this weekend to refurb my brake calipers, they were a bit messy and needed doing. The rear brake discs had also gone rusty and looked rather crap. First things first I removed removed the front brake calipers off the car, removed all the scabby yellow paint and rubbed them down. Then...

    Painting Brake Calipers..

Nice one! I was hoping I could just go over the top of the yellow.. Stripping the paint sounds like hard work :tearsofjoy: lol

    Painting Brake Calipers..

Looking to freshen up my yellow brake calipers, the paint has started to peel off so want to re-paint them. I have done a bit of research, seems that VHT paint is the good stuff. So my question is do I need to remove all the yellow paint first? Then go over them with some high heat primer, VHT...

    RS200 Racing Blue

Awesome! If there more reasonably priced at Two Techs in Dartford and they know Renaultsports inside out then I will probably use them next time. Worth going a little bit further if you get a good service. Yer, I have been reading through your thread, bet you can't wait for the conversion, that...

    RS200 Racing Blue

Yer definetly. If it hadn't of been for the warranty covering 70% of the cost I would have looked elsewhere! Seemed rather steep, who do you use? May have to find somebody else for the future..
