Locking wheel bolt dilemma sorted. Replaced with a set of black TPI standard bolts. Much prefer the look of these compared to the aged, rusty silver things!

Yep agreed I'd rather just pay the £20 and get them done... a little nervous just incase they struggle as I need them off by Monday for the timing belt.

No luck yet - local garage want a fiver per wheel so think I'll take that route tomorrow when the new TPI bolts arrive :-)

Got the oil and filter service done today. Wanted to get the plugs and gearbox oil done, but wasted a bit of time looking for the locking wheel bolt key, so just run out of time. Pleased the oil and filter is all done now, prior to the new belts and dephaser next week, car has now covered 69264...

Yep it's going to need a bit of money spent on it before Christmas, but I honestly don't mind given I bought it knowing it needed a little work. A nice delivery arrived this morning!

Hey - cheers for mentioning this. Everything appears connected, and the arms are all attached (front and back), it appears most of the troubleshooting requires a CLIP, so I may have to bite the bullet and take it to a garage :(
