Aliengreen 200 and Cup-Racer from Germany

But aren't other teams like Gerrit's for example also running their Clios without a wing? I remember a discussion about this and the general opinion was that a rear wing will only cost you topspeed while not contributing much if anything at all when it comes to handling.

Hey Mate, Aus GP 200 Clio cup

G'day mate! :german: A quite rare Clio you've there with only 30 (31) built. Which number is it? Btw, it's "Liquid Yellow" and good idea with removing the stickers. I just hope they weren't on there too long and you don't have any shading issues with the paint.

    hub carrier damage

The hole obviously shouldn't look like that. But I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. Is the part with the bolt a tie rod? If so there should be a sleeve around the lower part of the bolt. If that is missing the bolt has play which will lead to wear like in your photo.

    Autec Wizard - Fitment query

The forumshop owner from cliors.de still has a set in "Racing Orange" for 420,- € for sale. Just saying... *whistle*

    Boot lid rust

I had a similar issue with my Pug 306 years ago and got it fixed for 150,- € IIRC. Was a window out and no botch job. So, quite a good price. In general this position seems to be quite known to start bubbling first with the Clios as that's where dust (thanks to the diffusor) and moisture gets...

    Clio 200 steering rack

Not sure about other Clios but there definitely is a difference between "standard" RS and Cup/Cup-Chassis as the latter have a rack with a slightly quicker ratio.

    197 Aerodynamics (CFD analysis)

The simulations and aquired data is quite interesting and the findings in for example the relation to the spoiler are actually coinciding with what the teams racing Clios in the Nürburgring endurance series are reporting. Which is that the Cup spoiler or spoilers in general don't add anything...

Cat vs No cat. Clio 3 RS (203)

There are sport cats available that have ECE approvals (E-number) and therefore should be legal. Just an example: https://www.bar-tek-tuning.com/sport-cat-universal-200-cells-ece

New member RS200 from The Netherlands

Hallo en welkom van een Duitse buurman. The thing with the springs seems a bit strange indeed as the red calipers are a sign for the car having the cup package installed. Which should also inlcude the springs and dampers.

    Metzger parts quality

It's presumably this company here. https://www.werner-metzger.com/ From what I read they aren't bad (normal aftermarket quality) but people generally still suggest to go for original parts instead.

    My Ultra Red 197

I'm normally not such a fan of the BeBops but they actually look great in black. I also like that you didn't go for the sideskirts. It's a nice looking combo with just the lip and the wing.

    My most recent track day

Hahaha, yes I know these types of wheels from the older Mercedes' my dad had. Even the 190E still had one the size of an oil-tanker. I've learned drifting in that car, great memories. In this case or when driving like Jeannot in the vids (which is rally and not racing) you of course don't hold...

    Trial Fitted - Thoughts

I've looked a bit into this spoiler and it indeed is a genuine Renault part but seems to belong to a bodykit that was available for non RS Clios (even four doors). I never saw this one over here on one of our 197 or 200. That's where my confusion came from...
