Yes they are fella. The squealing has stopped now it was very quite anyway BUT it does sound like a jet engine spooling down when you brake from 70 :001_tt1:.
Small update
Got the new discs, inner steering arms, handbrake cable fitted. Bought driveshafts but they were the wrong type and didn't fit! (non tapered and bloody expensive) :@.
One of my shocks is on it's way out and does feel rather fluffy to drive, now that everything is tight. Good excuse...
I think shocker is right, its just removed the dirt from under your car...
Use a karcher chassis attachment to wash under you car then you can inspect it properly and see if it is damage, to save your self the embarrassment of them proving you wrong :).
What I learnt on track about the clio stepping out; when it does (usually from lift off or over cooking it) don't brake, counter steer a bit and step on the power to pull it straight.
First time my megane stepped out in the greasy rain I **** myself, then over time I slowly did it on purpose...
Mine sits just under half way, fans come on in traffic after 5 mins or so. Never moved on track too.
I'm told the if the needle goes over its too late.. 90-100 temps are OK, but don't rely on a odb reader telling you that.

The cig light works and satnav works plugged into it, but tried 3 different USB chargers for my phone but they dont work?
Cover your costs and take it on a track day.
Whilst having an EPIC day out, it'll highlight what parts will need upgrading. Instead of just doing mods for the sake of it.
