Just try earthing it battery to the engine I had the same problem at the weekend and it was down to a poor earth. Put a new earth in off the gearbox problem sorted.

Get a jump lead take it from the neg of the battery and earth it on a bolt on the engine and try firing it. If it starts fine its a crap earth

halfords advanced set there lifetime warranty is great. I've took loads of broken bit back and they replace them no questions asked. I use to use alot of snap-on years ago but there over priced and there warranty isn't what it use to be to the point now I would say 85% of my hand tools are halfords.

Can someone tell me where the horn relay is please? I have power at steering wheel power at the back of the fuse but no power at the horn it's self. I can only guess it's a relay unless someone has any other ideas
