So today, I fitted the wheel... It's true, those little springs that hold the airbag in really are a pain! Happy with this 'modification' if you can call it that though!

Sorry, what I meant was the ones I bought, the resistors are already soldered onto the wires, however the the wires don't seem to actually push in and secure tightly within the connector plug, so presumably I've got a crap connection and it's failed!

I did yeah, the thing I couldn't really get my head around from the guide was how to keep the wires firmly secured in the plug, so I think that's where my problem lies, going to have to give it another look!

Yeah I do at the moment, only downfall!.. No of course, not at all, just wondered how much damage they'd actually caused you, a wheel is bad enough though! Ive had exact same thing happen to me where a road staggers and the curb moves outwards with it, but the cars on the outside of you don't, and instinctively you always choose a curb...

Nooo, that's guttering, it's the worst thing you can try as hard as you like to look after your car and it's other inconsiderate 'expletives' that ruin it, things like this, car park dents etc grinds my gears, did you scuff arch at the same time or was that already there?!

UPDATE... So I've bought and fitted my Clio 200 Recaros, very happy with them, to me they change the feel of the car inside, I feel like I'm in a much sportier car than I was this morning lol Pics.. (Excuse the state of my car, yes it needs a clean inside and I spilt drink on my seat driving...

Yeah think I read the standard 197 are 10.1kg and Laguna wheels 10.7kg so heavier but not a huge difference, I just like the way they sit and they're cheap enough so figured it's easier to have a set of wheels with summer/track tyres and another set for the majority of the year (wet) Just got...

That's what I wanted to hear! Looked awesome, was speaking to someone there who was saying that was how they sit on those wheels and that you were the owner, they look so much better, Just really bugs me how 197 wheels look so lost in the arches, and thought this was a good way to fill that void...

Just moved comment to progress thread, yes that was the one!! Hadn't really considered different wheels then saw yours and another on those and it made my mind, Do you have spacers as well?

Haha well you say don't change a thing, still a few things to change.. Have just bought Clio 200 recaros Then it's royal steering wheel and renaultsport front splitter, but badges and door handles will be staying oem for time being! :silverdiamond:(I think, for now..)

Yeah I really do like it, I was just interested in finding out whether a decat would be a welcome improvement or ott, but at the expense of a flat spot and EM lights, I'll stay clear!

It's really quite subtle at the moment until you're really planting it, so I'm tempted to go for the decat seeing as I've still got centre pipe silenced, just need to hear it first to make my mind up as I don't want LOUD, take it you have scorpion with no resonator? Cat or decat?
