    MK3 200 vs E36 325i

My two colleagues/friends and I all have track cars. I have a Clio, 1275kg and 266HP/331Ft They both have e46 328ci. Stripped, suspension nothing major on engine front except breathing. They are about as fast as me on the straight and can take faster sweeping corners quicker than I can. I...

    RSTuning Group Buy

I'm happy to put my name down. But I would be buying the RStuner/remote mapping kit. If he allows that to count?

Honestly, the rational side of my brain says yes. I liken it to the fact that everyone talks about how the 205 gti has such great handling, but rarely do you hear from those who know the 309 was actually even better. It's physics. The bigger the footprint, the better the stability. The Clio is...

Caroline, (yea really, that's the name of my Clio) has done around 100 laps of Zandvoort since the conversion. I really want to give an honest account of the conversion for people who are thinking of going ahead, whether for a track car or a road car. Also, I want to dispel a few myths that...

    Ross's Supercharged AG RS200

I've never actually done this, I can imagine it's weird. Look forward to seeing progress updates. In my honest opinion, I think the rotrex is the best route for the high power chasers. If budget allows, its this way over a meg lump every day.

Another track day today. Was a lot of gt3/gt4 racing over the weekend so a lot of rubber on the line. Of course, it rained. Quite a slick session, few little moments. Got the cam somewhat better but still need to fiddle with it.

No, its not too bad. Trackday rules here seem a lot more lax. I found the first few sessions quote disconcerting. Eg, safety briefing is usually an A4 piece of paper if that. I enjoy it now though, just got to have eyes everywhere

I bought a couple of new cameras to start doing multi cam replay. Both were not setup correctly and died fairly quickly since the ciggy lighter was not plugged in on reassembly. This was one of the better ones, but the white balance needs adjusting. Totally raw. Fun little play with a white...

Fitted my turbo smart actuator today. Spot the washered up longer bolt. The original got lost in the abyss at the back of the engine. Also started fitting these to get more airs in. Need to go get some bonding this afternoon. The design is not so great on the 80mm duct. It fouls the...

    My RB 197

Love this. I come from North Wales and have done a few road rallies and was a mashal/stop watch monkey on many a cold morning/evening. I'd probably be doing that in a Clio now if I was still back there. Miss the lanes.

Yeah, that's what I thought when planning it. I think I should be able to drive around the pops and bangs.

    The crunchy 197

Curious on your feedback about the 4 holes in the front bumper above the grill, did it help to get some air in? Also, the Focus wheels were a direct fit? (reading the thread backwards, as you do)

    Big Bens non Clio

I'd love to catch you the next time that you're at a track on the continent. Would be great to put the car's side by side as we've gone similar, yet different directions. Be curious how much longer the legs are on yours with the forged lump and more power.

Well, I know in Zandvoort the location of the sound measuring is on the inside of final turn. So my exhaust being on the left is good. But once the cat has a good glow and the exhaust is coked up a bit the pops and bags will get worse. Can you do a reverse pops and bangs remap?

He's done a phenomenal job. It's exactly what I had in my head. I'm a bit nervous as I'm supposed to be on track Friday and Monday, but I think its going to cause me a black flag.

Quick update. I've ordered these... Which will connect directly into a pipercross viper thingy, which is basically a closed filter. This should lower charge temps a little. I've gone buckets and harnesses. Could not decide on what cage to go for. So for now I'll keep front civilian and rear...

Heat soak is real and the clio does not do a great job of allowing a free flow of air from the front and out the back/bottom. I did some investigation as to how the side vents worked on the wings. Turns out there is a gap/channel in the inner wing behind the struts and air should flow out of...
