There are good window waxes, and even some rain X products can help with removal. Bugs die quick but the liquid they leave behind is terribly adhesive at temperature.

Its a labour of love... but if you get a pro to do it, its less risky. Plenty people land up doing micro scratches during the clay bar phase without even knowing it. Do your homework before trying anything. GL

With a little hard tuck, you can drive it through the OEM unit, I really struggled but finally got it! lots of dishwashing liquid and a custom plastic tube helped the cause. I used have pix on my phone but never managed to back them up on my PC.

A proper soundproofed interior does wonders, I've even gone as far as t have the roof linked with an extra cushion layer and when it rains hard , I can still hear a conversation in the car. Just need to finish the sound install one day. LOL

Fitted a Sparco with a small mod on the inside shaft and I'm super happy, can't stand the standard one.

I wonder if you manned up and followed through with this design?

I think I'l do the same... with the heat here they don't last and the dealership want my arm and kidney as deposit so will skip replacing those things.
