Picking up my old thread from where it left, Renault wanted to write the car off as the new engine they wanted was 5k. long story very short, Renault payed me what I was due, I trailered the car and everything to do with my car, never realised there was so many parts! like I previously stated...

Mine was full Renault service history and car shat itself at 92k. It means nothing, specialists probably do better job than Renault.

I've got this exhaust on my Clio turbo, just got it because I thought it was layed out nicer and was different haha! Cant comment on flatspots and noise as I'm running the r26 engine etc

This bugs me, everyone claims the akra overpriced.. heres my theory £1000 for akra that removes the 2nd cat, most gorgeous sound, nice and deep not tingy and raspy, nice carbon tips and the brand.. no map required say what £500 for a cat back, then ontop you got to decat (£80?) or sports cat...

UPDATE--------- so so engine has failed yet again with new piston and rings and shells, we weren't happy the fact they only replaced the ones that got hit rather than the whole lot that's been effected. Yet again another engine fail bottom ends failed.. So far Renault have told me its parts...

AG owner here also :D had mine around 2 years now, initially got the car to sell on but fell in love with it every optional extra from factory except tom tom and sunroof

20K !? Have you only been reversing it on and off your driveway :D almost 2 years of owning my 200 and ive racked 50k 3 months of being in a renault for repairs. i say fair play for keeping on to it :)! looks really clean

not a white car obviously but mines matt applied to the outside, bare in mind it's illegal and an MOT failure, but mine measures 8 1/2 inch to the edge of the glass. Wouldn't go much bigger if you did, also take into consideration if your car has auto wipers and lights the sensor can't be covered :)

you say this but... i doubt a specialist would give warranty with the changes, this is the only reason i thought id spend the extra £££ and give it to Renault as they give warranty after. its already had thousands of pounds by Renault having new head rebuilt it all with all parts and labour...

I managed a 1200 mile round trip to Scotland for a couple days and only thing my missus said was the plastic bits were annoying when she wanted to sleep. But yeah she likes them overall and I've done around 50k in my cliors with the seats and can say they are very comfy for a bucket seat

Yeah it is a cool colour in all lights mostly looks abit flat. Had this car almost 2 years now! Never had a car for this amount of time, love it. Coil overs transformed the car completely, but yeah just waiting for its next issue to give me an excuse to put the megane engine In :)

thought so :) only because it happened to me, it frays inside then when it wants to take slack up the frayed parts catch on the tubing and dont allow it :)

what you have to remember is the akra is a system that includes a 2nd cat delete. pretty sure the miltek and scorpion etc you have to buy delete pipe or sports cat so actually the akra is only an extra £300, ive had akra and miss it allot, would 100% buy another new akra system! love it
