    Few detailing questions

Quick update: I managed to get a stab it it the other day. Wash, polish, seal, glaze, wax. Overall I got very good results, attached are some pics before and after on problem areas/scratches I noticed this morning in direct sunlight that there are still some long swirls/very light marks up...

First 'proper' clean for my Clio

Yea its got circular holes throughout to allow the light to pass through, Don't notice and difference really at night. From a distance the headlights just look black and you cant see the mesh until up close. Though i'd try it when getting the windows tinted and if i didn't like it i could just...

First 'proper' clean for my Clio

Another 2 I just took... Something about the second one I really like. Just be the mixture of lights I think with the light sky, think the car looks well

First 'proper' clean for my Clio

Alright folks. Somehow we managed to get sun in Belfast today so I give the car a good go over in the shade... Lol Steps taken: wet, foam, rinse, Wash (2 bucket method), dry, polish using a DA Polisher, glaze, sealant. I'm in no way a professional detailer, simply started trying to get into it...

    Few detailing questions

I've never done much in the way of cutting which has me scared. most ive used is Autoglym Super Resin which was the day of the 2nd picture and it came out brilliantly. Also dont know how the treat the bumpers with being plastic. do i take it much easier than the paint (not that i'd be applying...

    Few detailing questions

Okay guys, I've been taking my hand to detailing and some swirl removal etc for my own use with much research and got some really good results on my last car. I now own my first white car and it has a slight but of swirling that I plan to remove. Can anyone recommend good polish with even a...

    Fitting spacers

Let me know what you end up ordering. Think I'm after the same. Want a 30mm drop all round (thinking H&R springs). Don't know what spacers to get with them.. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    The back end looking weird?

As for spacers. Is hub-centric the way to go? What spacers are you guys running depth wise? See the 20mm looks lovely on the 197, should i maybe go 15? Guessing 10mm is pretty pointless? Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    The back end looking weird?

Think im going to go for the H&R Springs too. can you link me to the correct ones for my 2012 clio (newer top mount), i dont believe these are the right ones? http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=3704&appid=3 also what spacers would you recommend with these springs? to look the best...

    The back end looking weird?

First thing in going to do is lower and add spacers (when i work out the right ones for each other) lol. After that I'll maybe see but definitely going going to lower first now [emoji4] Then I'll reassess what's next after i have it sitting nice Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    The back end looking weird?

The change is ridiculous. Looks 1000x better. If fills the 'something missing' part of my thread title i think. Think I'll do the springs and spacers then save for the spoiler. Just don't know a sprayer or someone to fit it near me, this is another problem [emoji17]

    The back end looking weird?

Very true. My hatred was silver on white, hence the black badges, then the 'C L I O' under it looked tragic in silver so they came off lol Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    The back end looking weird?

I must say, the pics definitely do look much worse. In person i think it looks good with the minimalistic back end and the shiny reflections of the tinted windows really looks well with the back back lower bumper. Example here even looks a bit better lol.

    The back end looking weird?

check this thread: http://www.clio197.net/threads/acoustic-removal.7883/ Think its just used to keep the car quiet to comply with EU regulations. Apparently it opens up at 5000revs but dont quote me and i dont fully understand what it is/does until i look into it. might remove mine once i learn...

    The back end looking weird?

Think I'm going to go for the 30mm drop all round. Can anyone help me with the right size spacers and bolts for them? Thinking H&R like a lot of people Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    The back end looking weird?

My initial reaction is get the springs first as the arch gap upsets me on a daily basis lol. Heard mixed reviews on panel filters, some say noticeable audible difference. Some say none! Anyone any experience first hand? I know on my old ZR it sounded 1000x better with just an induction kit...

    The back end looking weird?

Wow looks far better! Thanks for the reply, i see a vast amount have 30/30 drop, sometimes even 30/40. Is there no danger with scrubbing or anything with a 30mm drop all round? Sorry for all the questions Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
