Dropped the car off so it’s now with Engine dynamics.. Pick it up on Saturday! Also managed to finish the dash pod, couple of imperfections but was never going to be perfect! Good enough for me.

@tombate911 runs a shorter FD.

Managed to get the filler all done on the gauge pod and primed with filler primer. Not a perfect finish but should come out looking good once it’s in colour etc! It’s pretty hard to get sandpaper in the corners!

I'm just going to go down the route of going to my local exhaust specialist and get the centre section silencer taken out and then get two separate silencers fitted.

Haha there won't be enough people after them for me to warrant spending the time doing them i doubt! I've bought the kit from Steve which some people will know, and will also know he's not long had the car charged.. Opportunity came up so i got my wallet out haha! Both cars are going to Engine...

UPDATE: So the cage is in now and has been for a few weeks and the car is all back together! I've actually just booked it in to have Supercharger kit fitted in a couple of weeks time.. So looking forward to having it done and with more power but at the same time keeping the rawness of the Clio...

There's so many meg conversions popping up everywhere and want something different! How did brands go with noise? I will probably have to book it in to get another silencer fitted as i can imagine it's quite a bit louder on full chat.

I've seen this car in the flesh and it is really clean, also seen it at Blyton Park once and it sounded insane! My car is going for a supercharger to be fitted at the start of December! Can't F**king wait now!

Don't you want to be mounting the plate behind the wheel instead of the QR? Looks a little odd IMO. You can just extend the cables and put in some connectors or something so if you wanted to remove the wheel via the QR then you just have to undo the cable connectors? Would look much better!

Slider looks like it's not in place properly.. But yes DS1.11s are s**t hot! No good for daily use though as the dust is ridiculous!

To fit a rear half cage you won't need to do anything with the dash etc? lol Front seats will need to be removed, place the cage in position, mark and drill the holes, put spreader plates under the car and then bolt it up. So in theory it will be the cage foot/plate inside and then a spreader...

Thanks dude! The inside atm is just the plan bare metal colour, theres not really any colour to it.. or are you saying get it painted in silver? The strut brace will probably be coming out tbh as it does bugger all bar take up space where I can put tools and tyres lol

UPDATE: Not really much happened with the Clio recently due to building my other halfs car with her.. Was originally a red S14 and it went under a full respray in our garage, along with new wheels, caliper refurb, coilovers and a wing. Also painted and fitted a full rocket bunny kit too it...

Also interested in those bumper brackets!
