    The Definitive What Wheels Thread...

I had no idea they came in 7.5J! all my weights are based off the wheels being 8J. Now that makes sense why you've got them in 7.5J, what ET are they that you have fitted? Is it a big job to do a conversion like that?

Definitely wasn't a phone, was a proper camera!:tearsofjoy: The aerial is just a 3-4 pound job off eBay, couldn't tell you if it actually works as I never use it though..

The rolling shot? I would have to run it by @stevef175 as it's his son that took that photo!

Bang for buck Ultrallegerras are probs your best bet. 250 per wheel at around 8kg. Cause I've seen a few people with them I wanted a bit different and got ATS GTR, same weight but about 335 per wheel new (I got mine second hand For 250 each). Alleggerita are around 7.2kg the lightest I've seen...

Also a fraction of the cost. These are 165 per wheel. If i recall when i was looking to buy Alleggerita, they were around 350 per wheel.

UGH, sex. I was after a set of these in Matt Black but was given a minimum lead time of 3-4 months by O.Z themselves as no one had stock! :confounded: Ended up netting myself a set of ATS GTR's instead.

    Hero wheels are on!

Thanks! Gave them their first spirited drive today on the back roads I take to work. I was actually pretty surprised at how nimble they make the car feel, I really wasn't expecting it. Looking to get some 5mm spacers I think, got the stud kit so it's no issue to just get some slip on ones...

    Hero wheels are on!

Yeah this! All it says is; GTR with weight reduction possible (GTR Evo). So I've no clue how much it shaves off, although APmotorsports website says 0.6-1kg EDIT: I have just read, skimming through other forums, that the Evo is not TUV approved and is only for track use.

    Hero wheels are on!

Ah no the ATS DTC is a different wheel, the 'ATS GTR' also have a 'ATS GTR Evo' variant, they cost an extra £25 per wheel, and the description says it's a weight reduction of 0.6-1kg, I don't know anyone with them to confirm this though!

    Hero wheels are on!

Definitely! :grinning: Yeah ATS GTR, 'hero wheels' is what Chris calls them, I guess it's a bit of an inside joke. :tearsofjoy: Yeah the cheaper option is 8.2kg, the more expensive 'lightweight' option, apparently shaves another kg off each wheel. They don't fit the rear on mine, perhaps if...

    Hero wheels are on!

A brand new set RRP's between £1260 or £1360 dependent on which spec you go for, I picked these up second hand though!

    Hero wheels are on!

With thanks to @Christopher for pointing me towards them, and @stevef175 for helping get them on. Unfortunately, center caps don't seem to fit as the hub protrudes too much and stops the clips going in. So might have to get some small spacers to get them fitted. Just phone pics so excuse the...
