Steering problems/ 4 wheel alignment graph

Hi Yiannis, thanks for the useful advice. I started noticing the problem last year around September and it got progressively worst. I had some H&R springs (I hate them) put on in October and i could notice the wandering/pulling more after. I had a basic alignment done straight after fitting and...

Tyres are perfect mate, I have a pump and pressure gauge at my house. They are checked every two weeks. Exactly, luckily I didn't pay as it was covered under warranty as part of the lower arms being fitted.

Recently I've been experiencing problems with my steering. Basically feels like it's pulling to the right and wandering badly. Along a straight bit of road the steering sways from left to right slightly so it doesn't feel to safe if I'm honest. If I accelerate it pulls to the right(into oncoming...

    All 4 corners being done!

What contis are you running at the moment? Conti sport contact 3's are the standard tyre for this car and are actually very good tyre. AD08'r are what I use. They are a fantastic tyre. They heat up really quickly and are super grippy when warm. They hold up well cold and wet too which is very...

Make sure the belts have been done regardless of the milage. If it's a 197 they should have been done by now. Watch out for crunches in the gearbox especially going into 4th. They aren't the strongest box. Make sure the steering feels tight and doesn't pull or wander as this could mean the...

Past Cars to Present (what you had)

Haha tell me about it Chris91. It was on Schmidt modern lines. The fronts where 7.5j with 175/45/16 tyres stretched over. And the rears where 9j with 195/45/16 stretched over. Feel free to call me a stupid idiot, totally unsafe and unnecessary. It lasted about a month before I missed having a...

This is gonna be a great build thread mate, I've subscribed so will be keep a close eye on it. Any idea how long it will take you to complete? I'm tempted to go for the same supersprint racing system like you. But I'm worried with a manifold and decat it will break the noise limits on a lot...
