Ok, just whipped mine off and dismantled, diaphragm collapsed inside.

Got to go the dealers tomorrow for a new dipstick so I may as well get a new PCV valve as well...

I think these are a sealed unit, on one of my old cars I read that gases can escape from the crankcase and these vent them somehow?

One of the other lads is running a similar post, it is the PCV valve..

That's the one, had the same noise on the Nissan 350z...

The noise is coming from the black circular sensor type thingy situated right adjacent o the blue ring on the picture, mine does the same.

Pardon the ignorance but the "merp" noise is coming from the circular sensor thing on the air intake pipe on your manifold, mine does it but goes when warmed up slightly, is it the Maf sensor?

At some point I will be dropping the lot to change the rear crank seal so will have the sump cleaned then...

Well I drained the oil and hoped the offending plastic would come out but that was hoping for to much, taking the sump off was a no no as suffer with bad back and just draining the oil took its toll so I got on the phone to my garage owner mate/mechanic who said it will have no detriment to the...

Getting a little bored of things going wrong with this car now.

Whilst checking my oil this morning the measure part has snapped off and is obviously in the sump somewhere, is it ok to run the car? Thanks

I bent the lip on the subframe where the manifold drop passes it, this did not knock or catch and this was before I uprated the bushes but I changed the bushes anyway.. I noticed on ebay the other night that there were a couple of Toyos cheaper at £169.00.

I think if you replace the upper engine mount the ride will be to harsh, I changed the upper torque mount and lower engine mount, got the car up on a ramp and revved the day lights out of it and there was minimal movement in the exhaust.

One thing to check is other sections of your manifold, when mine was taken off and I checked it over not only had both flex is split but also the welds on the four pipes had hairline cracks, glad I just fitted the Toyo...

I went out for a quick blast tonight and noticed a problem with the interior roof lights, when switched off they are off, when switched to permanent on they are on, when switched to door open they come on when door open but when the door is closed they stay on but very dim. Anyone come across...

Does the plastic filler plug just require finger tightening or pinching up with pliers?
