Ok the Milltek is fitted, first impression is that it is quite droney, hopefully this will reside a bit once it beds in and cokes up? It gives a decent note through the rev range and sounds well on tick over, just not sure if the drone will lessen as time goes by....

I will be taking it in my mates garage tomorrow and it will be done on the ramps, looking at the instructions, half a page of nonsense, I cannot fathom where the existing should b cut, anyone help on this one? Cheers Russ

There was no Scorpions available until the beginning of July and Millteks were in stock, I went have a look at one this morning and the rolled "special" tips are awesome....

Thanks Syer, I might take your word on this one as the videos of the Milltek seem to be raspier than others....

The more I look the more I am drawn to the Milltek or Scorpion, I suppose the question is resonated or non resonated, if it was the latter would I still get the raspiness?

That's a lot of money, however the 197 is one of my "weekend" cars so don't want to spend to much on it...

They certainly don't, the discs are Brembo floaing discs, same set up as on the motorbikes..

Yes all discs were fitted yesterday, new calliper went on and hopefully is will be collecting the handbrake cables shortly..

Then I need new front discs and pads for the VXR, best price I got on them is circa £1100.00 so the Clio is dirt cheap!

Th good thing is Euro got me the caliper within 4 hours from ordering, bad thing is main dealer have let me down on the handbrake cables but still hoping they might turn up today, if so the lads can finsih the works off in the morning....

Well the costs are shooting up as we speak, the lads have stripped the rears down and the near side caliper is well and truly stuck, just ordered a new one from Eurocarparts, also the handbrake cables are shot and need replacing, costs to date are: Front discs/pads - £130.00 Rear discs/pads -...
