    Black Coffee Training

As mentioned above - the actual coffee is the best place to start - in an ideal world you'd be grinding the beans fresh. Beans can be bought at a reasonable price from the following: https://hasbean.co.uk, https://ravecoffee.co.uk and https://pactcoffee.com Honestly - I am not the *biggest*...

    Black Coffee Training

How are you making the black coffee? Honestly I HATED coffee - now I am a massive fan of it - though I probably go to far more effort to make a cup than many would. Happy to elaborate if you're interested!

    Matt's track/nurburgring RS250 Clio f1

Are you running a modine (oil/water) like oil cooler still? I am not too clued up on meg conversion/cooling but using oil/water cooler will surely not help when it comes to coolant temps in these conversions. Really like this car - followed you/your Megane on Instagram before!

    Xenon lights misbehaving...

There is more than one sensor for a 197 on the front - iirc there are two.

    Xenon lights misbehaving...

Be careful - the sensors are REALLY expensive (£100+) so you'll want to shop around and talk to Paul at Renault Parts Direct - a normal main dealer could really rip your arm off here. I had this EXACT problem - it was the front one - I had a friend with CLIP and it took at least 3/4 attempts to...

    Front Calliper Attachment Bolts. Size/type.....

Careful with doing them up to 170NM - it's an aluminium thread - 110NM should suffice.

    Xenon lights misbehaving...

Have you plugged it into CLIP? I had this issue, replaced the front levelling sensor in the end (CLIP told me which one).

Help Required - "Ns Front Bottom Arm Play In Joint"

Tie rods: dealer only - talk to Paul (renaultpartsdirect.co.uk) for these - I have not heard of anyone finding aftermarket ones of the right length Pads: up to you Front discs: Brembo High Carbon (HC) discs are ideal here. Rear discs: I'd go dealer only again - bearings need to be good to last...

Hard track driving vibrations through brake pedal

Did you do any cooldown laps? Maybe you parked up when the brakes were hot and caused some kind of minor warping/hot spot. When were the discs/pads/brakes last serviced/replaced?

    Brake lines

I used P clips with no issues - just have to be careful.

    tcw's Clio 197

The car went to Engine Dynamics yesterday. It has been mapped before at RSTuning, before my ownership. Since my ownership it's had the timing corrected, new plugs, couple of services and so on. So after some thought it went over to ED. Initially at RST it made 178hp, then after mapping made...

    New 197 Owner from Kent

Regarding ratios - it'd be hard to tell because so many have had gearboxes replaced. Hopefully someone with more knowledge could comment. Temp gauge should be higher than the first line in normal driving - maybe time for a new thermostat?

    tcw's Clio 197

So Snetterton on Monday was brilliant. Really really happy with the car. I think there were 5 sessions which were red flagged whilst I was out, which was unfortunate, but no major delays really. Got some instruction (free with Opentrack) - got myself 20-30 mins with adamchristo.com - really...

What is your preferred engine oil?

Please don't cause more damage by starting the car. Add oil in 500ml increments until it's close to the max. When did you last service the car/check the oil?
