    Who's using Cup Racer / R3 bits?

I can't see any difference in the track rod ends between road and race. Only thing you need is the coned shim and the nut- part of the bump steer set up. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

    Front Wheel Bearings

How old are the tyres, I know of where tyres have created a ridge/step in the tyre and this creates a noise.

    Front Wheel Bearings

I was refurbing some spare hubs, one had a play from just moving the hub, the other felt really rough when spun. Wheel bearings sometimes show up by hearing grumbling noise from the front, especially when you load ( noisy) and unload (goes quiet) the wheel, i.e. swerving left and right down the...

@samben you can get a base map FOC from DTA or Pure motorsport. to get the car started but not for use above 3500rpm, as the DEphaser trigger is probably not set .

    Who's using Cup Racer / R3 bits?

if you fit the EE brackets you need the longer cup race anti rotation arms. However what renault have done is just cut and sleeved a normal set and charge stupid amounts extra!!

    Front Wheel Bearings

just replaced two. I used the bearing carrier mounting holes and 4 M12 bolts and jack down on the back of the hub so it jacked the bearing off the hub. Because both of mine we're fecked. It left a bearing shell on the hub shaft. No problem if you have angle grinder and 1mm cutting disk. cut...

    Old Gits LY.....now under conversion

A small update, removed the old subframe A bit of tidying up in the wheel arch needed. The subframe is being swapped out with a cup race unit along with the wishbones, support bars. Been weighing up whether to install the EE brackets on the hub, decided not to at present as this means spending...

Ha Ha Ha sure!......hopefully the time before I start looking into this some one else has done alot of the hard work. Will be a cool project and get away from those doing the FI route...that's getting boring now. And cheaper , my budget build cost got to £3.5K for a F4R!

    Front subframe removal question

Yes you can drop it off all the bolts and leave it suspended on a jack, you have no need to disconnect the steering column, just be careful dont leave it suspended with too much weight from the subframe. If doing this way you will have to drop the top mount bolts off, these are easier than...
