Sold the Meglio Cup Car... Now project 205...

Ok. It does look like that on the 200 they decided to change them around. As I have a solid shaft from the support bearing to the o/s wheel bearing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. I noticed that for the o/s shaft you've extended the shaft that I see on mine is the one between the diff and the drive shaft support bearing. Have you swapped your shafts around? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

apologies if any intelligence was insulted. Non intentional. The sleeve rod, was this machined to fit if so what was the dimension. Ren parts drive shafts are still in design stage. So looks like it's going to be a diy job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Old Gits LY.....now under conversion

After being staring at it in the car for the past few days , I think a more simpler design could be constructed. This is one item I've put on my list for next winter fab projects.

This week .....I've mostly been fabricating!! Although not brilliant, haven't welded for a good 8months and should of practiced before hand. Tackled the throttle cable, mk1 design. Mk2 to come but does the job. Had to approach it this way to ensure nice smooth curves on the cable. Found...

Reference the sabelt belts. Any chance you could measure the total length of a shoulder strap. I need some longer belts to get me from the roll cage bar to my final seating position, as I'm a short arse! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Old Gits LY.....now under conversion

Using OMP base (i think) and some eBay alloy brackets. Problem is I had to mod the base to get rid of the offset with the pedals/SW. They are a heavy lump so I'm going down my own route of manufacturing welded in mount points for the standard side seat brackets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not fussed about accuracy. the fluctuations won't be a issue as I just found a "smart" unit which you teach it where the stops are and is does the rest, so probs solved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
