Turns out it's pretty serious.... Only had this gearbox refurbished a few months back! -.- Gearbox coming out next week and back off to Jade Developments to see why this has happened.

Not sure why you've not heard good things.. they're stiff but that's adjustable. I drive round on with them 23 clicks out of 28 front and 25/28 rear and they don't bother me on road.. Shouldn't listen to what people say on forums! :P

So i did a track day yesterday at Snetterton 300. Since going last i now had changed to coilovers, semi slicks & OZ Ultraleggera's. Completely transformed the car. Was stupidly happy during the day lapping faster than most cars there, including BIG powered cars. How ever it didn't end too...

Karl_F I purchased the last one in stock in the Uk from Pure motorsport. Mine came with multiple scratches in and 2 fairly large dents in the top of the spoiler. I contacted them and they've refused to contact us back. I called Puremotorsport and his words were "They've been real **** lately"...

Oh yeah of course it is but money was the issue when changing over to the coilovers. Was on a tight budget.. Will probably get new top mounts soon

Yeah he did but then sorted the sound so I left and it started again when I got home... Typical! Just wondering if an uprated top mount would cure the sound.

I did, that's when we located it's coming from the front right top mounts when the suspension compresses over small bumps. We tightened up the top mounts and it stopped for a bit.. I know of 2/3 other people with this problem also with Spax coils..

Hey guys, i recently had Spax coilovers fitted to my car. Over all i'm very happy with them but had this horrible rubbing sound & feeling through the pedals when going over any slightly bumpy ground (anywhere on uk roads basically) Had a look at it and found it was coming from the front right...

Had my geometry setup with Mark Fish Motorsport. Can't recommend this guy enough.. His work really is spot on! Oh & he said for dampening settings it's better to run the rear stiff and the front slightly softer.

You're lucky, i've spoken to 4 people now who have the same problem as me. It' a deep knocking through the pedals.. Very annoying! Going to have a good look at it Thursday when it's up on the ramp. I don't think it's anything serious as everything is tight. Just very annoying feeling & hearing it!

Vinyl Image in Leeds, was a 3 hour drive from me but well worth it. Had my old car wrapped by him. Just get a quote see which one it's closer too. I know it's tempting to go for the £80 one but you don't want to end up with a horrible job being done!

The handling is great with the spax coilovers. Actually a very nice bit of kit! The dampening is easy to adjust and i would disagree. You can feel change with just a couple of clicks each way. I'm running 23 up front, 25 rear and it's unbelievable how flat the car corners. Very happy myself and...

So had the coils fitted today.. got them setup incredibly stiff.. The car is ABSOLUTELY planted.. i can't wait to get on track on 27th at snetterton! dampening settings 23/28 up front 25/28 rear... Only issue i'm having is this very odd dull/droning rub every now and then on the front when on...
