Also got Rs tuning telling me I need bigger injectors.. Would you agree? K tec on the other said run standard injectors and standard intercooler and get it up and running and see if it's really needed. They've apparently done 2 conversions with standard intercooler with no problems

Either Airtec or forge... I'm guessing there's a way of making it fit? Rs tuning tell me they run a Clio with a forge intercooler

So here's the Megane r26 i picked up on Saturday. Car runs lovely and has been VERY well looked after with lots of services etc. Today i've ordered pretty much all the extra parts i need for the conversion. There's no rush with this conversion but i hope for it to all be done within 2 months...

The guy doing my work said the loom is stupidly easy so he's doing that part. Rs tuning will be doing ecu and remap. I really don't see the problem with the standard IC... i think it'll cope fine?

It's all good, the chap doing my conversion is going to do the loom for me. Most likely be copying you there and welding the standard IC to the crash bar.. Unless I really change my mind and buy a Forge one. Just don't think it's necessary. Especially at £500

Have you got a contact number for them and also how much is the loom? Can't I just use it out the Megane? Probably sound like a right noob but I have no idea how it all works haha

Well I've said to myself I'd be more than happy with 270-280 bhp. Wouldn't mind pushing close to the 300 mark though but definitely not over. I've always thought that 300 is really the limit for a fwd car.

Hi guys, i went and purchased a megane f1 230 today as i'm going to be converting my clio! Just having a little problem working out this intercooler upgrade that i need... I keep hearing something about SC Autos i think they're called that do a intercooler for the conversion and i've also seen...

If all goes ahead yes Chris will be doing it for me. Think he's quite interested in doing it as he hasn't done one before.

Looking that way... Seems silly to have to keep throwing money at the gearbox. May as well put it towards a meg conversion :)

His words were "If you ever have any problems with the gearbox bring it straight back" That's all.. So will interesting to see what is said when it's dropped there some time next week. Hopefully all goes smoothly and i'll just have to pay Chris for labour.

Everything crossed for sure lol otherwise it might end up stuck in a garage with a sheet over it for the next year or so!
