    Matt's Glacier White Megane 265 - 4th time lucky!

I hope not Ben! Still feels just as good today, can't wait to get out and drive the car. Thanks very much Shuv! It's been an expensive few weeks but over the moon now. It certainly is, specified Redline to be put in from your recommendation and definitely glad I went with it.

    Too Much or Worth It?

I always keep my eye out for a raider as I would love one if the right one came up, however in my opinion I think it/they are little bit too expensive. There are so many people putting 200's up at ridiculously low prices at the moment - even a low mileage 200, with every option ticked is only...

RS200 Cambelt change, dephaser replacement yes or no?

The main thing to consider here is that 'they rarely fail' doesn't mean they won't fail. An older part is more likely to fail than a newer one. I know Mick @ Diamond charges £110 extra for the dephaser according to his website, in my opinion while your already spending £470 on the cambelt etc...

Do I need to replace the dephaser with the cambelt?

Looked in to this recently and you will always get mixed answers, people say they don't need doing as they weren't an issue on the 197/200 and some will say yes they do need doing. Personally for the extra £100 or so, I would be (and I am) having mine changed along with the cambelt, aux belt...

Great to hear, glad you got sorted and decided to go to see Paul at RS Tuning - Always good to see even more positive praise from one of their remaps.

    Matt's Glacier White Megane 265 - 4th time lucky!

Small update today: Documents for my new licence plate arrived, already purchased the pressed plates last week so popped out this morning and got them on. Really like them and glad I finally bit the bullet and bought this one. Looking at these photos, if i don’t get a 200 diffuser I think...

    Matt's Glacier White Megane 265 - 4th time lucky!

Thanks Ben! That's exactly the dilemma I had, either sell/trade in for next to nothing with it's faults or dig deep and get everything sorted. Glad I chose the route I have and I'm looking forward to getting the car back when everything is done. Thanks Antti, I'm definitely looking forward to...

    Matt's Glacier White Megane 265 - 4th time lucky!

Just noticed it's been 18 months since I last updated this thread, and to say I browse the forum daily I thought I'd try start making a bit of an effort. Nothing much has happened since the last post, the car has been my daily and unfortunately I never got around to doing much from my original...

200: Another 'where to remap' question

I paid the same on 15th February, well mine was £195 + Vat (£100 group buy discount) @adrianu84 I'd give them a call and check that quote they gave you is correct. Unless they have had to put the cost up by £100 in the last couple of week, I feel like the wrong price was quoted by mistake...

    Advice please.

You can find the springs here for cheaper than you mentioned, just make sure you select the correct one https://www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/steering-suspension/renault-clio-197-200-front-coil-spring/ The guys over at RPD are great and shipping is always very quick. Getting an Eibach...

    Problems after fitting Milltek

Then I'm sure you'll be happy once you get it done, especially with the flat spot being pretty bad. I didn't really have one as such but it still made the car feel a lot better :grinning: I believe it is £295 + VAT so £354. Which is the same price as the Ktec Renflash which i'm sure is fine...

    Problems after fitting Milltek

Nottingham to Rstuning in Leeds should be a fairly nice and easy drive (I've known people travel 5/6+ hours to them) I was there a couple of weekends ago and Paul's work is second to none. My car didn't really have a massive flat spot but the difference is still brilliant, you won't get...
