The only differences i can see so far is the etched RenaultSport logo on the outside face under the Brembo sticker and the fact they don't seem to come fitted with dust seals. From what i've seen the SW Motorsport cages are a good option. Certainly something i would have considered if they were available this time last year before i bought my Safety Devices. As for the new seat, that's out of this world!

More progress, finally getting towards being done! New lower joints are in the outer hubs. Just need to get the old bolts out of the EE brackets now. Has anyone ever replaced just the rubber dust boot on the upper ball joints? I managed to split them whilst splitting the hubs and need to refresh...

Some progress eventually. After having the manifold flexis changed over the festive period I eventually had the chance to re-fit it. Also managed to get the subframe on then tackle the dodgy gearbox mounting pin. Finished off the day by fitting my inner door pull straps that I've had sitting...

I was worried enough with a single bar across the roof! It's by far the scariest job i've done yet.

I knew the Clio's were around that sort of figure but thought the mini's were cheaper. I obviously had the wrong impression. It's a shame though as without it being a proper 'support' series the Clio's will be a much lower profile now and can't see it being a feeder series quite as much.

I'm sure i read a little while ago they had agreed another contract with TOCA to continue it for a few more years but i now cannot find the article. It's a shame it's going as i think it is the perfect support series for the package. Admittedly the Mini's are putting some incredible drivers...

i do love the wrap around seats but i think without a cage they look a bit odd. Car looks great though!
