I had one, never again when it gave me injection fault and completely cut the throttle when in the fast lane of the m25, it gets dangerous as any slight movement in the plug and it will most likely give this fault.

Thought i'd update, the problem still isnt resolved, and the electrical gremlins still giving us the runaround. It seems on the codes its giving to be the throttle pedal or associated wiring from it to the ecu. Last time i spoke with SteC he was re-wiring the plug and replacing the throttle...

Gearbox wont fit, you'd have to use a megane 225 or r26 one assuming the engine block is the same as the 265 or 250. I dont think anyone has put a 275 engine in a clio befiore.

UPDATE: I havent updated in a while mainly due to not much progress being made. Ive been spending every weekend endlessly trying to check sensors, wiring, fuses, relays, throttle bodies and much more bits all to no avail. The cars throttle is not responding at all, hence it will only rev to...

I wouldn't keep the air con. If you are using for serious track use, radiator needs all the cold air it can have and with the condenser and intercooler in front of it, it will inhibit cooling even more. Apart from that looking good :) let's hope you don't have any electrical issues like I'm having

Yeah true, especially with an engine that with unknown history and if all the sensors etc are functioning correctly

Thanks, yes a lot of work is involved. Engine dynamics do a very good forged engine package. Thats not bad, I bet thats plenty really. The problem is going over 300hp everything needs to be changed, fuelling, clutch engine internals etc

UPDATE: Well i said I would update, but but its not the update i wanted. Unfortunately I didnt get to drive it this weekend we had a few issues. Well it started with finishing up the suspension, putting arch liners back in and giving all the underside another coat of paint (Its had 5 now :lol...

Sub-framed has to be dropped to remove steering rack so Id imagine will be considerably more than replacing the track rods. Steering rack is a known fault though.
