Supposedly the 197 / 200 dephasers are all but bullet-proof. Like all here though, i replaced mine with genuine Renault parts at the same time timing belt, aux belt, cam seals, water pump etc was done. Although you're already quite far in financially if you're having timing belt done; to skimp...

Yea I’m on stock non-Cup 200 dampers. The very dampers these Springs were designed around I believe. And I love the very noticeable difference / improvement. ‘Don’t think’ mines a Pro kit. And LMAO Suj

LMFAO. I’d say to do a decent prep (To get good visual end appearance, best adhesion of Ceramic and therefore longevity of product) is £400 minimum from my talking to 3 local guys. More prep, base layers, wheels done etc adds to that of course. Oh and yours; in lovely Albi would look AWESOME...

That’s a great price. Back then or not ! Horses for courses. Depends on what you want out of it. And like anything in life - chasing the last 10% gets expensive. Plenty here spent way in excess of 4 figures on coil overs, custom springs, 4 corner weighting, geo etc. I chose £150 springs

From researching: Prices go from £300 (Basic single stage polish + lower grade Ceramic) in these parts to £2500 in London. For essentially what is the same type of service / quality. My local guy is quoting £695 for 3 stage polish and I think wheel faces only are either included or are £50...

After researching: I’ve gone for CarPro CQuartz 3.0 UK Edition. Hope I feel the same as you afterwards !

For sure ! No different to anything. Your's does get a slightly 'harder' life than most road cars. Offset by more regular maintenance, more refreshing of remotely worn parts etc and generally much more love than 90% of cars on the road of course. Glad to hear it. It's certainly come a long-long...

We all get a insular at times ref Clio's. But the ST is supposed be excellent from every review i've read. And with a few mod;s and one of the "hundreds" of remaps available out there - is supposed to be a cheap weapon.

OT: But what was the Fiesta ST like ?
