    Lewis's RB Clio 197

Looks well that buddy. Like it grew there :sunglasses: I'd possibly like something similar for mine. But 200 options seem to comprise of hoofing great 'look at me coming splitters' and not much else. So i'm quite jealous of you 197 boys in that respect...... :dizzy:

    BMW M235i vs Clio 200

“Connected” is the key word there for me. The two smallest cubic capicity motorbikes I’ve ever owned (One 400cc road-going and one 250cc for green laning) have been the most fun I’ve ever had on two wheels. The Clio is much the same on 4 wheels. Then again I’m not a power-freak; and top speed...

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Probably the same day you promise not to wheelspin past me. In 4th :tearsofjoy: In all seriousness i'd do an evening one at Snetterton / one of those short-track days Bedford etc no worries. A full day doing wouldn't interest me.....

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Thankyou ! In the sun today; it looked on a different level to i've ever seen it looking before. Very pleased..... Yes it got given two coats of CarPro Cquartz 3.0 UK. I then immediately bought some CarPro Reset shampoo designed for Ceramic coatings; and some CarPro Elixir QD for the same. Just...

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Eventful day. Normal stuff for modding cars I guess.... Car went into garage this am as planned. So far so good ! :tearsofjoy: Unwrapped seat lowering frame and a couple of the parts looked like a teething Shark had used them to soothe it’s gums :persevere: So off to the powder-coaters...

    Lewis's RB Clio 197

I've been there with 'race suspension set-ups' on motorbikes, running no mirrors on bikes because of the cleaner look', having race-exhausts on cars because of the awesome noise, and having lowered to fuck / dropped suspension on cars because it 'looked cool'etc etc........but at the end of the...

    John's GW 200

Don't tell me you're in any way disappointed John ? Maybe not quite as 'engaging' possibly (?) But it can't actually be less performance-wise in any department surely ! Not to mention reliable as sin, rattle-free, minty-mint clean etc etc etc. Ok; i'm actually very jealous  Maybe being...

    Redline gearbox oil

Good price that. I've heard some 'fairly serious' track boys knock the Redline stuff. For not performing at really high temps from memory. For me....and i imagine any road users....really not worth considering anything else IMO.

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Hiya Yiannis... Saw your car on fb in a workshop. What you having done ? I’m sure the washers you talk of are for a 6mm countersunk bolt. (At least that’s what I used - in Stainless Steel). A company called ‘Bolternatives’ used to be the place - not sure if their still around....(?) But...

80s tribute drive to the coast this morning

Porka is stunning. Very retro cool. And the colour so suits it for what it is. Love it !!! Not that many years ago i wasn't a real fan. That and the 924 being really quite a popular car in my childhood. But it's gone past the 'couple of models old' stage (At least in my head) and is a classic...

Exterior window trim (where will i find to buy?)

Its not. There are 2 different part numbers - and 2 different parts - for passenger and drivers sides. And two slightly different prices too ! I bought both from RPD. From memory 18 months ago one was around £23 - the other around £25.

    Cleaning/Detailing Advice

I'm an extremely keen 'detailer'. If it's not your game; and you have little or no previous experience - have it machine polished / protected in the first instance IMO. It's hard work, you can potentially do alot of £££££ of damage; and it will never be as good as someone who is trained and...

    Slightly porting inlet manifold

Is slightly porting like being slightly obese, or slightly breaking the law ? :tearsofjoy::smile:
