    Bootlid Trim Missing?

Renault parts counter: 8200070461 is the part number for one I think.

Clio 200 Front Lip / Splitter (Black Plastic)

Hi, I think the part you're referring to is listed as 8 on the attached diagram. "MBR-Aerodynamic" part number 8201045505. Each half is held on by two rivets. The two rivets are load spreading type and not obviously listed in the parts page on Dialogys. (They're included as part of the front...

Head Unit and Rs Monitor Questions

Hi, I installed to a brand new Radiosat Bluetooth a couple of years ago. Same display as yours and had same problem. Stereo would light up but no prompt for the code and no sound whatsoever. Pulled my hair out for a few hours, even bought the replacement RS monitor display thinking there was a...

    Clone Keyless Entry Card

I've not done it but the Renault Clip has a programming function for this.

Drivers exterior door handle lock button not working

Common problem, whole handle replacement is probably easiest. Not much point unless Renault have redesigned the button assembly, which I’m not sure they have but stand to be corrected.

    r26r Rear Discs

I think we might have the same problem :) mine must have only done that in the last 12 months.

    r26r Rear Discs

Hi Locke, Just looking at whether the grooved discs clear the rust from the faces better than the non-grooved. My standard non-grooved seem to get quite badly scored up when clearing the rust. might give the r26r or equivalent a go to see if it makes any difference. Cheers.

    r26r Rear Discs

It was the braking surface in particular. Mine get rusted up and scored very quickly and wondered whether the grooved versions of the discs were better at preventing it. I'll check out the Bilt Hamber stuff as had not seen that before. Cheers folks.

    r26r Rear Discs

Hi, Big service for the 200 this year. I've been wondering about the slotted r26r rear brakes to help with clearing the rust. Has anyone here got experience of them? Sad to admit that my car is very rarely used and does suffer from rusty discs :-(. Thanks, Ben.

    Quick help!

Any of those with the big round button in the middle will do. Your choice in terms of facia colour, i.e. bottom left is the original colour and head unit for the Bluetooth option. The main reason for needing the head unit is so you can change the time on the display as I understand it. If you...

Ah yes, that's the one. I'm enjoying Austria at the moment, will pop them an email when I'm back in the UK.

    8j Speedlines - Cup Racer

I have some random questions. -Are the 8j Cup Racer Speedlines only compatible with cars that are fitted with Cup Racer hub spacers? i.e. does the extra width foul inside the wheel arch? (Presuming the extra width is inboard of the hub) -Are they available in black from the factory? I'm sure...

    Chassis strength and rear coilovers

Cheers Tom, interesting info. I'm planning ahead for a bit of a suspension refresh over winter and seriously considering my options. I'll have a closer look at what the cup cars had vs the r3 rally kit. Obviously complete over kill for my needs :)

    Chassis strength and rear coilovers

Probably a silly question, but I've seen a few rear coilover kits for the Clio 200 and have been wondering about the chassis strength in this configuration? Has anyone had any trouble mounting rear shocks like this on a car without a welded in cage? Thanks, Ben.

197/200 : Potential rust place under side sills?

So they are! Even Dialogys says to replace the decorative trim plate each time they are removed. Part number 8200467594, about £60 each in the UK. I wonder if a heat gun and thin plastic scraper would get them off without damage... Might be a job for another day at those prices

197/200 : Potential rust place under side sills?

It's common on cars with side sill extension e.g. Escort Cosworth and was only thinking about this myself at the weekend. I tend to always vacuum out the debris that collects in the rear sill but I can see that much of it still collects. Did you have much trouble unclipping the sills? If you...
