    Best tyre combination?

I had the 240tw Zestinos for last year - did around 7k+ kms on them, and at least 5 track days. They had plenty of tread left to go but were starting to crack so they are toast. Grip was pretty good, very consistent tire. Got up to heat quickly, and dropped off after maybe 3-4 hard laps. 1...

    200 Steering Wheel Alignment

Definitely sounds like alignment issue, shouldn't be subframe related. If the alignment does not resolve the issue, check the inner and outer tie rods for sure. Subframe would be the last thing I would look at - its either bent or the bolts have stretched which may cause the subframe to move a...

    Vibration from Powerflex mounts

All of the vibrations I got came through the steering wheel, and random buzzing in the cabin. Are you sure the booming isnt from an aftermarket exhaust or leak? I believe its the lower engine mount that causes the most vibrations.

Repairing KW v3 or new yellowspeed ?

Spring perch needs to be changed to fit KW springs. Reach out to Compbrake, they should be able to help. If not, there was a guy on the forum here who was a dealer for them and would do the job as well. It escapes me who right now, best bet would be to search.

Repairing KW v3 or new yellowspeed ?

Always good to check bump and rebound to make sure its even across the car. As for top mounts, you can go with either the KW or the Compbrake ones, but the CBs need to be machined to work with the KW spring. Depending on your car (earl vs late style topmount) you can also look at AST and Pure...

    Road/ocassional track tyre

PS4s last about 1.5 hard laps and fall off, so you constantly have to cool them down. Plus they have soooooft sidewalls so the tires rolls a lot. But any tire you pick will inherently be compromised for the other duty. If you guys have them in the UK, I ran Zestinos for a year and they were...

yea, then stiffer springs makes sense. Go with the cup setup, stiffer rear than fronts.

That carbon door is epic!!! Let us know what the final weight of the car is fully loaded, curious how much the carbon parts shave off the cup car weight

Repairing KW v3 or new yellowspeed ?

I would rebuild them, but I am biased as I have the KW CS. Do you want to use them on a track car or DD, or mixed use?

Track day max oil temp, max coolant temp

I looked up the temps online, and low 30s is manageable on an NA clio. I dont like to run with hotter ambient temps personally. Make sure to run cooldown laps at a decent pace to ensure good airflow to the brakes and rad, and you should be more than fine. Last track day I did was 32 ambient...

Repairing KW v3 or new yellowspeed ?

Its not that much to rebuild, its the labor cost of taking them off and reinstalling them that might push the price to the area of new coilovers. But why change? KWs are excellent, serviceable, and have a great range of adjustment!

    Missfire and no power

Yup. Easiest way to check is swap the O2 sensors around. If that solves the issue, then you have a bad sensor, but that would have come up in the error log.

Do you have any scan tool to check codes?

Silly question, but what tire pressure are you running? Might as well rule out the simple stuff first.

    Exhaust Wrap for Manifold Flexis?

Well, not sure that is a true option. The metal mesh is what keeps the halves of the iron pipes in place, and is under decent amounts of stress. Wraps will not take that stress for long. Why not look into Toyo headers? Much cheaper than stock.

Spanner light on + check vehicle

You wont damage the car by erasing faults, but you also cant do it with a cheap obd tool, only with a clip or the fastchip reader as far as i know

    Catcams 5504402 - OWNERS thread, Q&A

Theres always variables to account for when doing Dyno pulls that can lead to variations between setups / cars / etc. The post above is great because its the same car with different cams back to back to back to show us, all this equal, which made more power.
