Shift lights are working OK. It's just the camera angle that causes them not to be visible on the video. Most shifts coincide with the 1st red light.

I've had these white ATS wheels for a year or so, using Toyo R888R. I also bought the last set (Black) from APMotorsport recently. I think that I'll re-powder coat them white before fitting tyres. The original Speedlines are used for trailering, and wet days using Dunlop ZIIIs.

Although motor racing is extremely curtailed at the moment, the local South Australian track "The Bend" is holding track days almost every day (albeit with 10 entries maximum allowed). Last Friday I went there for a day on the GT Circuit (7.77km). This is purported to be the 2nd longest...

It was the last track day (of 2019) for me yesterday. The weather got a bit warm during the day which seemed to hurt lap times a bit, but a good day nevertheless. In the practice session used to set grid spots, I set the fastest time, and this video shows the chase of a supercharged Toyota 86...

    Speedline wheel weight?

Confirmed Cup Racer Speedline 17x8 rims are 10.5kg according to my scales. Looking at ATS GTR Evo 17x8 @ approx. 7.6kg each. That's 11.6kg saving for the 4!

I'm not sure. Simon (owner of the other white one) says that he had his suspension set-up some time ago and hadn't touched it since. I've been adjusting mine using the string line method. It's fairly straightforward with some simple tools including a steel rule and an inclinometer.

I travelled to Melbourne (from Adelaide), a distance of 850kms for 2 track days at Sandown Racecourse (on consecutive days). On the Saturday I was joined by 2 more Cup racers, making 3 of the 4 total in Australia in the 1 location. A couple of photos here, and I'll post a video or 2 after I...

Just to clarify - In the Clio 3, no clutch needed for upshifts if rpm> 3500, but clutch needs to be operated for downshifts. In the Clio 4 Cup with paddles, you don't need to de-clutch for downshifts.

Quite possibly. Still getting accustomed to the sequential gearbox, but I'll give it a try. I think just downshifting faster will achieve the same thing. With the Sadev you need to de-clutch with every gear, so the feet are very busy. I'm taking my leads from Stefano Comini's you-tube videos...

I received the last 2 rims back from the paint-stripper yesterday. They are a bit battered, but a bit of TLC should get them ready for painting in a week or 2. How did the inner rim get so trashed?
