    Big Bens non Clio

If you're going to do it, you may as well do it properly! Save a lot of aggravation later on. That's my opinion anyway.

So as many will have seen

Part no. For an r26 box is NDO 020 and std 225 is NDO 000. It's usually on the labels and engraved into the box.

What intercooler are you guys running?

As long as it's a bar and plate intercooler it'll be fine. Not a a tube and fin. Doesn't have to be an expensive one either. The spec you Need to get somewhere around the 300bhp/300lb/ft is the intercooler, 630cc injectors, 3" exhaust system including the down pipe. And a meg mk3 250/265 T15...

    Big Bens non Clio

Don't think there's much point in anymore than the 350 mark, Me and Matt, @trackspec197 have been discussing it. Still the lower c/r is advisable if you go near these figures. I'm probably going to use the the 8.5:1 myself. Just incase I go to the 350bhp in the future. Going to make myself a...

    Big Bens non Clio

@Big Ben That's good news, I've looked for complete Alloy Rad's myself and can't seem to find any?? What pistons are you going for Ben? Keeping the std 9.5:1 compression or dropping to 8.5:1 to keep it safe if you want to go for more power?

I have the Clio alternator fitted. No issue's. Matt @trackspec197 had a similar issue with charging. Can't remember exactly what it was. Just a low battery I think?

Workshop for conversion process in EU.

Alex at Aw motorworks comes highly recommended, he was originally at engine dynamics until they decided to concentrate on parts and mapping. He has done several conversion's.

    Mark's Nimbus 197 T Cup

So a little update. After about a 1000 miles I got a noisy lifter. Last night me and Matt @trackspec197, removed all the necessary parts to find a stuck lifter and the cams and bearings in the cover and head all scored. Too much silicone has been used to fit the cover which is now rock hard and...

I got a 20k 265 turbo too! It goes well, traction control has to work hard though! I've an open diff at the moment Can't wait to get my r26 gearbox rebuilt and fitted! So it should be even better.

    Big Bens non Clio

Yes Ben got a 250/265 Turbo made 304bhp and 298lb/ft brought the torque down to keep it safe!

    Big Bens non Clio

The Only thing is It goes up when you go above 300bhp, mine went up a bracket from £329 when I got a quote at 290, when I got it mapped it was over 300 so went up to £369, Limited to 5000miles with green light.

    Calling all FI owners

Can take you out in mine, I'm not that close though. Im in kidderminster, got to sort out a noisy lifter first though. If you like turbo cars it won't be an issue converting, I Love mine. It's a relatively easy Job, I took my time over it and I never took the engine out of the meg which I...

    200 cup price advice please

Years ago we had a customer that bought an '89 Aston v8 zagato volante. Very rare car from a collection. It had done 845 miles. We serviced it but it was as new. Trouble was he was using it every day after it had been sat for around 20 years. All the bushes fell apart within a few months...
