    Stud and Nut conversion

@Big Ben You don't have to wait for the loctite to dry. Don't use too much loctite either. All it does is stop it from coming un done, you can bolt them in, fit the wheel and torque. Then go onto the next one. You wouldn't want to undo them before the loctite has gone off.

The plugs look similar to these. These are the Meg plugs but the white one and grey plug are the same just different wiring in the white one. Borrowed pic.

    Meglio Fan Wiring

Does your car run the 197 fan relay? When i originally wired my car as per diagram found on here it didn't use the fan relay, so ended up re wiring it to put the fans relay back into it as I'd been informed it was required. So the fan wiring was basically the 197 wiring added into the Meg loom.

    My Meglio

I've gone through the conversion and fine it all myself. Similar spec as you were mentioning, had mine mapped at Efi, running, 304bhp and 298lb/ft but it lasted 1000 miles. Due to a noisy lifter but turned out the cams had picked up in the head and there was excess silicone. So currently...

    Mark's Nimbus 197 T Cup

Not Really Ben, just keeping it safe as the cost of the pistons is the same. No valves at the moment. Maybe a set of catcams springs. Budget isn't allowing for too much! Getting the R26 box rebuilt too whilst I'm doing it!

    Mark's Nimbus 197 T Cup

Been a while since any updates on this so here's a small one. I bought a spare engine with low compression on no. 1 cylinder. Which has now been stripped. Put through the hot wash and ultrasonic and painted. The Block is at the machine shop and the parts to rebuild the bottom end have been...

Just bought a meg 175 dci, can't believe how nice it is to drive, feels a lot tighter than the Golf, needs a little tlc but can't complain it was cheap! You'll find something.

    Think I'm being too picky??

I think I'd go for one without the Recaro's for a better car then you can add them later, or There was a 197 cup on facebook the other day? Or an r27 will give you what you want but a different front bumper?

    Which OMP boss?

The bit on the back is only for the indicator cancel. Has yours got 3 grooves in it? Mind had 3 grooves that had to be lined up? Mine's an '08. You'll see them on the pictures I put on facebook.
