Satin is the way I would go, just sometimes think the wheels get a bit lost in black, have been toying between the satin Black and Anthracite, cups had anthracite originally.

So the engine is all together and timed up. I did forget to order a core plug which I don't remember removing? The breather and thermostat housing have been fitted but I forgot to take a pic.

So a little update, The Bottom end is built and the head is on. Still got to fit the cams and time it all up but it's getting there.

I work on classics for a living so it's a bit different doing a later car for myself, always had turbo cars too, so it was a no brainer! One of my current work projects.

So This Arrived Compared to std. Can't wait to get this fabricated now.

So tonight I lapped in all the valves, took a few hours as the exhaust ones really needed it! I also got this today, And my intercooler core will be with me tomorrow. Unfortunately still no rings!! Should have them Wednesday! I hope!

So a few more bits, I managed to fit the crank tonight, Still waiting on some rings which is starting to drive me mad as I'm getting impatient. I did try an old top ring which had done over a 100k which was still tighter than the new one's. Always happens to me!!

So 1 step forward 2 steps backwards! The catcams springs arrived. Went to gap the rings and there's something wrong. The ring gaps are the wrong way around. 2nd ring has the gap I need for the top ring and vise versa. Top ring in brown.

So last night I made another purchase, I bought an intercooler core, so I can make my own. The core is 24"x8"x3.5" and rated to 600bhp. So we'll see how it performs when I get the map checked. Also have an alloy meg rad and fan pack on its way. Lots to do.

So, the block, head and crank are ready to go. Also the bits have just arrived!:thumb: Just waiting on the catcams valve springs.

Me and Matt have a few ideas! Rad Support is definitely one of them. Also these are under development..
