Cup or non cup is irrelevant really. Suspension can be changed easily. I have a 197 cup on h&r springs used it as a daily with the family no problems. Now i have kw v1's and adjustable top mounts to go on. Just buy the Car you want. You'll end up changing it to suit you anyway.

I took mine off ok, but I fitted it with double sided tape. Was still a pig to get off. Carbon Cup spoiler to go on mine..

Strange as I went from a vw Touran to my Meglio. But I did insure it as a second car to start with?

I've got the spats for my 197, also got the full carbon cup spoiler from Ap motorsport, weighs nothing. Can't wait to get it all together now.

My Meglio at 304bhp and all mods declared was £369 from memory but I'm a lot older than you. That was with greenlight.

Put too much into it to give up on it now, may be a while though as I'm having to put an engine into my T5.

Can I ask how much the brackets were? So are you going for the new shafts too? As the new ee brackets make the shafts 25mm too short. Meg engine will have different ones to what rentune supply.

Mike Sargent on Facebook is running meg and going cup racer subframe, I believe that one of the clio shafts will work as it's longer. Not sure if he changed the inner joint? But he got the other one lengthened. I'd have had one made personally.

From memory, you only need to replace one plug, the one for the fan relay and starter cable can actually be completely removed from the clio loom and put into the megane loom. Removing the same wiring from the megane loom. I believe you can remove the canister in the pic but I just ran the...

There is a guide for all the wiring on this forum. Not that you need it now. It is based on a ph2 loom and it doesn't keep the fan relay which is needed but it was good enough for me.

Must admit it was a bargain, full service history, belts done a couple of years ago. Does have a synchro issue but for what he paid it saved him a couple of grand. His cheapest quote do far was admiral I think.
