    Maidens1979 Clio 200 - clubsport build

Yeah, seating position is a bit of an Achilles heel in clio. That is why I have to choose bucket seat carefully :) I like the look of GTRs very much, but maybe will be better for me to buy something with modular cushions. With standard seats, I have the front of the seat too high.

    Maidens1979 Clio 200 - clubsport build

Those seats look absolutely beautiful. How comfy are they compared to standard buckets like Sparco EVO or Recaro Pole Position? I like "blackout" button more.

UltraRed 200 FF CUP - Weekend warrior

I don't think so. But I have never had any problems with MAP. It is just a precaution - less vibration, less likely to worn o-rings, that seals it.

UltraRed 200 FF CUP - Weekend warrior

First upgrades: - MAP holder - upper torque arm powerflex - Sabelt 330mm steering wheel with OMP steering wheel hub (We will see if it is ok or too small. I have also some old leather 350mm MOMO V35 from 1989 lying around to test it  ) and some box of fun, mainly from KAM racing...

UltraRed 200 FF CUP - Weekend warrior

I have bought this chap last year, few weeks before x-mass. - 2011 Full Fat Cup - Full leather interior with standard seats, Tom Tom Carminat - 87000km Car has some cosmetics and few technical bits to solve, but they are now quite hard to get and expensive here in central europe. It will be...

The Definitive What Suspension Do You Have Thread...

I understand. I was just happy with KONIs on my Focus. But clio factory setup may differ. I wonder how much will be more camber improvement on B roads. They are quite often heavily cambered on their own :D And not always in the right direction. Maybe get somwhere closer to tarmac rally setup...

The Definitive What Suspension Do You Have Thread...

suj: KONI have set compression and you can adjust just rebound so you can tune compression vs rebound ratio. That is what i meant. YSR have this ratio set and you can make them overall more or less stiff. I dont think i need separate adjustment for fast road car. At leas not yet. I know KONIs...

The Definitive What Suspension Do You Have Thread...

I have late RS200 stock FF Cup pack for now. But since one of the front dampers is shot I wonder which way I will go. I drive 90 percent B-roads. Some very nice and smooth, some not so... To me stock cup suspension feels a bit oversprung and underdampened on rebound, but It adds some liveliness...

    Gearbox oil

Thank you guys! Very helpful. I hope this oil will help with longevity of synchros. It's a shame that even after all those years, noone came with permanent solution, because noone knows the exact reason, why they fail :( Same with the spun rod bearings. (mainly italian and german "autobahn"...

    Gearbox oil

That is exactly what i feel with Motul....it is constant shuffling between 2 and 3 sometimes 4 where I am driving, so quite the same. Could this be problem with all oils that have 100deg, viscosity around 10 (MTL and my motul, ale original renault fluid too)? Castrol is like 15 i think.

    Gearbox oil

May I ask, why you prefer Castrol over Redline MTL? I have changed my oil to Motul Motylgear 75w80 and I am not very happy with it (feels notchy and not smooth at all), so wonder which one I will try next. Thanks.
