    Pre-cat, Y-pipe, remap ... headache :D

Well, just oredered RStuner from Henk. According to him car will be safe to drive without pre-cat with Stage 1 map that is included. After some datalogging, I will buy custom tune to have it 100% right. So thanks for advice again :)

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Replacing terminals is sensible thing. There should be stamping on connector housing, then you know manufacturer. Probably AMP, Tyco, TE. Teh you can source new ones according to cable size. (example https://sg.rs-online.com/web/p/crimp-contacts/1361927)

    Pre-cat, Y-pipe, remap ... headache :D

Tnak you Frank for very helpful info. RStuner is definately only option for me. Just wondering if from hank or RStuning. I do not know how good are maps from hank compared to RStuning. The last thing I want is to ruin my engine because too lean/rich etc. I dont mind power gains, but for example...

    Pre-cat, Y-pipe, remap ... headache :D

I can, but It is supposed to be PITA to map it even to original power.... :( And I can only use rempote remapping.

    Pre-cat, Y-pipe, remap ... headache :D

Hey, since my precat started rattling like crazy, core is detached from the casing and I do not want it to disintegrate and clog the main cat I wonder what to do? I have planned to fit Y-pipe atd first, but cannot find any other than supersprint, which is stupid money for what it is. Next...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

So, ordered fresh cup shocks from Kam racing. Still not sure about springs, so maybe will just try new rears with original springs at first. Information about spring rates being quite inconsistent. This is what I have found here, in different posts. I hope original authors won't mind. Maybe this...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Well, having DS2500 for (very) fast road, I am sad to say they are big letdown for the money, because of total inconsistency of brake feel/power. No way I can modulate them on ABS threshold, like I did with former TRW (which vere not up to task temperature wise). Left foot braking can be hit and...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

Yep, I am from Czechia. And I ride mainly roads like this (some of those locations vere also used for hillclimb races): https://www.google.com/maps/@49.9637823,14.2219535,3a,75y,180.1h,88.44t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snfJWexljXtUIF3Gb0GYTTA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

So rejuvenating rear cup shocks (fronts are new) and hoping that it solves rear end bounciness (not stifness) that pisses me off, will be your advice?

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

The last thing I want from my car is soft setup :) I want setup for fast roads of various quality with trackday here and there. From smooth to mediocre, not for pothole fest (I like my rims). I want maximum body and suspension control at pace and as minimal body shifting as possible when...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

After reading numerous threads etc I am strongly leaning to GAZ golds with cutom spring rates. The question is... which spring rates? My gut feeling tells me that R3 access tarmac spring rates would be good starting point. So somwhere around 70N/mm front and 55N/mm rear. So very soft back...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

I have late top mount so no camber adjustment for me. But this is exactly what I am thinking about. Getting more "road" specs springs and having adjustable damping.

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

duck.co.za: Well I begin to consider something like gaz golds with custom springs... just because you can alter settings which on B14 you cannot. Btw to be honest I find even the stock cup suspension unterdampened on rebound. Yes, you have lively feel but...The problem is I feel even the stock...

C3RS200 Bilstein B14 vs CUP Pack stiffness

Could you please explain to non-native english speaker (me), what exactly means "crashy"? Because to be clear: I have had Koni yellows on my Mk1 Focus for 10years (was my daily too). They were set up very stiff. When you hit speedbumps at lowers speed you felt it pretty hard. (Harder than my...
