So few updates. Ditched Goodyears Assymetric(front at minimum, and one on the rears had repaired puncture, so threw them away). Bridgestone Potenza sports are on. Wonder if they would last at least half a season :D Also managed to destroy my flexis after scraping my middle silencer over...

Will the steel synchro for 3-speed break?

Have seen photos of those peeled off/desintegrated, but never seen on in person.

    H&R Springs

29103-2 are for "small dome" cars, so RS200 post 7/2010 i think. I have small dome and my front springs have designation 29103-2, and rears are just 29103. Maybe those manufactured before 2011 were just 29103, because 29103-2 did not exist at that time. But if you buy new springs, 29103-1...

Yep, no sign of clunking. But you know, in the garage it feels different. Especially on the clio. Everything on the front axle is tight.

I have not been messing with it at all. And it worked fine until yesterday. More likely there is a false contact somwhere in the connecting harness between the left and right stalks.

Well, bit more driving and unfortunatelly the play I was about the cure with new balljoints is still there ...somwhere. I can feel it through steering wheel when driving in left hand turns over bumpy surface. Also, there is still slight torque steer preset at higher speeds on highway, (when...

UltraRed 200 FF CUP - Weekend warrior

I get the point. It should make the car more nervous in higher speed cornering. But more toe put front in fwd car should help turn in from what I have read. Pity I cannot try more settings since I do not own alignment tools :))). Another thing is how scrub radius/ride height affects this. I have...

After few more kilometres, it feels like with the "right" geometry, the steering is more "loose" and turn in is worse. Steering feels dead-ish from center. I can feel tires preload and then turn. Maybe with more toe out that was there before, they were already preloaded :D

Passenger side ball joints have developed a bit bigger play so managed to change all of them for the new kit. (thx raptor6767). That means everything suspension wise (except swaybar bushings) is done already. Finished my from tires (after 10000km), so it was time to do alignment after suspension...

Original RS knob is still mounted using only press-fit on the rubbery - something :D And I try to avoid metal gearknobs if possible :) I do not drive with gloves all the time .)

Big Ben: I know the point, but the difference is negligible IRL :) Bigger difference is who moves his hand faster lol :) But everyone to its own, I was just asking, not meant to dis ZPO or any other. It was one of first mods on my list until i tried, actually :)

Am I the only one thay likes the shifter in the original position more? I do not like that high positioned H pattern. Sequential is a different animal, there it makes sense fo me. Threaded the shifter shaft instead of that stupid wobbly rubber renault thing, and put my 15+ years old OMP knob...

Are those aerocatches significantly better than something like this? (https://www.quik-latch.com/bumper-kits.html) Which looks more neat for my eye as a bumper holder.

To my knowledge it cannot, because it is pressed in right into the housing. Do you have any play there?

Cup Springs versus H&R Ride Height.

Yep. It is not that low, completely fine driving over speedbumps. For my usage its excellent height.

New shifting lever on the TL4 gearbox, with second shaft for second bearing(bushing) and some support that will hold it. Lever is originally supporter only by shitty KU bushing pressed in the gearbox housing and it starts to wobble after few thousands miles and it hinders shifting performance. :)
