CNC bracket for the MAP sensor cane today. Short test drive seemed to reveal it has done the trick with no kangerooing, hesitation or flat spot on second gear. Pick up when mashing it in 2nd is now instant. brilliant mod for £20 if it has worked!

lesson learned today. Took indicators apart and gave them a good clean. Wouldn’t clip back together so used a little super glu - you can’t really see it but as it’s dried it’s reached with the plastic and fogged/marked the clear plastic. New one from eBay on their way! Side trim back on...

So steering wheel time: many of you will have read my pain at trying to unclip the airbag (3hrs of my life I won’t get back) but advice to use a 1/4 extension made a massive difference and finally I got it off. Same story with the gear knob: literally had to stand with one foot in each footwell...
