Yes the baseframe is heavy itself. But I think it is much lighter than standard seat baseframe.

I didnt install recaro with side airbags. side airbags weight.......around 1kg for both side.

Oh its not so difficult. I dont have step-by-step photos, 1. remove seat base (remove 4 bolts beneath) 2. remove seat belt holes trims (remove 2 screws for each side) 2. remove seat back upholstery (pull the edge carefully) :)

I would like to update my Recaro pics. I lowered front end of the seatbase by 20mm using Japanese recaro sportster base frame and recaro adapter. Japanese recaro frame is a little bit lowered considering Japanese physical. Upholstery installed Finished !! :bounce1:
