Twisty track I would agree, but Donno is a fast track, so for a standard engine to keep up with what I assume is FI is very impressive. Cant wait to complete my cup racer setup next year.

I have a universal roof scoop with same principle, drain plug and pipe running into engine bay. In heavy rain I do get the occasional drip, but nothing serious.

He did my V2 top mounts and I've never had a problem with them, and my car gets some abuse on track. Mine were the first made for V2's (and perhaps all the KW coilovers, not sure). Perhaps the more bespoke stuff is more robust???

I've been running KW V2's for a few years now, and they are superb, but a bit above your budget. TBH I really rated the cup shocks and H&R springs I had on the car before the KW's.

What difference did the rear beam make? I have a spare beam which is currently having the Pure strengthening plates added. I've been told in the past it shouldn't really make a difference, but got a set cheap so thought I'd give them a try.

I guess there's an argument that says running skinny tyres will cut through any standing water better. The wider the tyre the more surface water it needs to move. Assuming we're talking about real wet conditions here, not just damp or mildly wet, then I'd prefer a 205 tyre to a 235 tyre...

Been a few replies on the facebook post over the weekend, with one person in particular saying it makes a MASSIVE difference to front end grip and cornering speed, although yet to back that up with any actual time recordings. This is next on my to-do list, but with a new garage build imminent...
