    Window Wipers

The wiper stalks are a bit pants and become loose and wobbly. A new part is about £65-70 from eBay, maybe try a second hand item first? The left stalk (indicator and lights) plugs into the right stalk (wipers and menu options) and have shorted out/stopped working. Its common for the high beams...

    POTM December 2018

I love this photo, but its hardly 'festive' so I perked it up with a label!

Best way to change gearbox oil...

Nothing to drop a pipe down to the gearbox filler hole, if you get a reasonably wide hose, probably 9/10mm with a funnel as the oil is thick. To get to the filler cap nothing is needed to be removed except jack the car up and remove the wheel, you will see a white wingtip filler plug on the...

Best way to change gearbox oil...

For Gearbox oil Id echo above, except I propped the nearside up and kept the offside on the floor to get a bit more in. Running a bit of hose down from the top of the engine is a great way of flowing it into the gearbox.

Anti rotation links - where from?

Maybe they'll have some more next year though often I find if you cant find them online at all it normally means they've stopped producing them, for mass market anyway.

Anti rotation links - where from?

Hey all, I have a knocking at low speed which has been traced to this (basically all other front suspension parts have been replaced and the ball joints on these are loose) Other than Renault has anyone else used any other make? At £40 a side from RPD they arent cheap for what they are! Doug

    Engine Oil Temp From OBD2

I use a wireless OBD2 reader and Torque in my phone. Shows coolant temp, not sure about oil temp. Next time I connect it up Ill check.

    Cold Starts

Im still turning the ignition on for 20/30 seconds. I suspect theres a heated lambda sensor in the precat which doesnt get a chance to work properly when the car is just started. I have had zero problems since and Id be surprised if Renault didnt test cold starting on an engine with some mileage...

got a clio rs again, but cant find parts Im looking for

Welcome back! Not sure about Streamline Carbon, just noticed their merger. Their grills were hard to get anyway, they stopped batch production and seemed to not make many more sets in the last 12 months. The KTR cup spoiler is the same, possibly a good replica. Theres also an Italian replica...

200: Another 'where to remap' question

I live in Plymouth, Devon, and bar a few mods am looking at a remap too. Ive kinda settled on Engine Dynamics, pretty sure one of the 3 (EFI, ED or RS tuning) have a discount code somewhere in this forum if you become a member.

    Cold Starts

It was a chap on the 197/200 Facebook group. Hes designed them and is 3d printing them, selling them at £7 a pop. The first one I have had has fitted ok but has needed a ziptie to still keep it in place. When I fed it back he said he would make another for me which I am yet to recieve, but still...

    Cold Starts

I fitted a plastic MAP sensor holder/bracket at the same time which holds the sensor both straight, level and pushed down so this may be the cure. But its been more than a few days and hasnt reverted back (like the ziptie 'fix')

    Cold Starts

Ive noticed that putting the ignition on for 20 - 30 seconds stops the cold start 'kangarooing' recently. Anyone know if the lamba's are heated?

    Heater not heating

Fairly easy to take the fascia off and check plugs and wiring for damage or loose connections.

    Rear end wobble

No problem Mez, no buddy, it shouldnt be under tension, that should be pretty much fully extended. I think the lower shock absorber bolt is quite big like a 19mm, the top ones are probably smallish like an 8 or 10mm. You may need a breaker bar for the lower bolt to get it started.
