    R27 Replacement stickers?

Mega bump, Has anyone bought 'replica' stickers recently? With the bodywork I have planned I am going to need to replace the front, rear and passenger side ones, so I will do the drivers side too. Getting these from Renault now will be very expensive

    Fiesta st are very popular.....

I would be surprised if you can tell the ST3 apart from a ST2 or ST1 :tongue_smilie: I own a 197 and a ST2, they are both brilliant cars and do things slightly differently. I find with the Clio you always know what is happening where as the Fiesta is a bit more refined, it is quite easy for...

Thanks, I'm learning all the time both with the camera and with PP. My aim is to get pictures good straight off the camera so PP is only required for small tweeks

    What exhaust for clio 197?

If you are bothered about it only being single exit, then knock up a 'fake' exit to put on the other side.

That is now up to date. Next week the car is going in for the belts to be done and also track rod end replacements. Then I will be looking to get the bodywork sorted in November hopefully

I noticed one of my rear tyres had suddenly gone really flat, turns out I had a puncture. Went to the tyre place for a replacement and then the locking nut key turned to cheese! So bit of head scratching later, the originals were taken off and a new shiny set fitted Next up, I was fed up of...

    My R27 #93

Then some bad news. Driving along the A46 near Leicester over the Easter Weekend, it was about midnight. I notice something flying towards the car in my peripheral vision, then a massive thump! When I got home this was the damage The damage is too harsh to have been a bird or bat, so I think...

So it has been a while so I thought I had better do some updating! So first up was the manifold, suffering from the usual failing flexis so it was out with the old and in with the shiney new Toyosport version! During the fitting Old vs New Bit of heat in there Then after a...

    mpg does not =performance

Well turbo'd engines are more thermal efficient, so when being driven the same as a NA it will yield better MPG

    mpg does not =performance

Were these 300/400bhp+ cars also NA? I average high 20's on the trip read out, actual is slightly higher.

    Recaro's vs standard

I love my Recaros, they really finish the car off. Like Johnny said, not everyone likes them. They are high sided so the bolsters wear badly, more so if you park in normal carparks a lot and have to squeeze into the car. She has found a technique now, but my missus used to hate getting in the...

    toyosport manifold, powerflex engine mounts

You may need to 'align' the engine mounts if it is sat like that. Remove/loosen a bolt from the lower torque link, then slacken the bolt which goes into the bulkhead on the upper link, pull engine forward then tighten the upper link again, then tighten the lower link. If all the engine/gearbox...

Red 200 at Evans Halshaw, Gateshead.

The Octavia will run out of puff before the Clio comes on song, so you need to drive it that way. Driving these like a diesel (riding the torque at low RPMs) won't get you anywhere quickly, you need to use the 3-5k range to start to get a move on or 5-7.5k for all out
