Yeah MRFs seem to be the best value/grip ratio semi. Direzzas are defo quicker but they cost more and also last less. So end up being a decent chunk more to own. Used cup slicks are the king of value/grip ratio though.

Never worked for me. Not likely people will give up their job/licence for £10

Be careful with this. If it’s actually the disc it’s not fitting through then it might be that not enough has gone into the hub it self. I found I had that with mine and had to tighten them through the disc then into the hub.

That’s how to do it Crash, but have the proper protection to walk out sore but overall ok. Then not only fix it but upgrade it. Glad you are ok! And I look forward to coming back in here for the updates.

Yeah I am with the others. That will likely be your issue. Get some cheap brembo HC discs for the brembo Road pads as well. or tbh just run the track pads the whole time and save the faff

Winmax W5 pads on brembo HC discs have given me no issues on my silver one. Got PBS pads on the bigger PFC discs on my Meglio and they have no issues too. I did find the PBS were quite up to it on the smaller discs though.

Yeah the M2 won’t be that bad to maintain. M3 and below are usually ok. It’s the M5/6 with the V10s that were crazy. My 2008 E92 M3 cost me less in maintenance in a year than my 2007 Clio 197

I’d be trying to find a nice spec M2 Competition with that budget. You’ve got the Clio for outright track duty. So I assume you want something nice but also fun to drive on the road. If you wanted it can do a track day on just pads and fluid. But then why would you do that if you have the Clio...
