Just in case anyone else needs, these are the dimensions for the silencer: 37cm length 18cm width 11cm hight I just need to source a silencer for my mid pipe as it’s straight through and too loud.

Sorry for resurrecting an old threat, but then again I didn’t want to create a new one. Anyone actually knows the size of the silencer in question i.e dimensions, how long it is etc.??

FIXED - The culprit was like a little bolt cover (or whatever you call it) at the end of steering column, behind the pedals. It goes over a nut and was loose.

It is not it. I have lower engine mount and torque mount. Had them for 3 years and didn’t cause such a rattle. It sounds from steering, stalks or something like a loose nut. Tried to touch, finger and hug as much as I could, but the bloody thing still there!

I would keep the OEM set up (or go non-cup OEM) I have cup dampers and Grams, on B bumpy roads they are too stiff. I had non cup before that. On smoother roads, Grams are great. Overall, just keep OEM or non cup dampers with Eibachs (I “heard” they are good, but don’t have personal xp) and...

Just to update, I fitted the OE mid pipe back on leaving only the toyosports back box - so much better. The sound was getting too loud and annoying to be fair.

Fixed! Misfire was caused by a faulty coil pack. Loss of power was caused by a non genuine cam sensor.

Vibrates more when your AC is on as well. Switch off AC and should vibrate less - well, does for me
