I'm on 53k miles (56 plate) and haven't had these problems. I did have the Brembo calipers replaced under warranty just before it ran out as they had seized, but no gearbox or exhaust problems (famous last words!!!!). Hope it hasn't ruined your enjoyment of the car.

I recently changed from 95Ron fuel to vPower and noticed the effect (I know the car is designed for 98Ron) but I also found my mpg went down from 25mpg to 23mpg once I upgraded. I thought I would get more mpg, not less!!!

Very different cars. How quickly would you get bored of an auto? I liked the 225 I drove. Would have one too.
