I've had this happen in the 197 a few times when reversing near full lock, not for a while now, touch wood.

I fitted a Rentune seatframe earlier this week and feel as if the seating position is spot on. The seatframe was fairly easy to install - a few nuts and bolts, airbag/seatbelt connectors and all the tilt/slide functions transfer across.

I think I've grown accustomed to triggering the sensor with my hand before pulling the handle, so never noticed the handle unlocking by itself. I know when the keycard battery is flat the handle doesn't open, I have to go the French drivers door and use the key. Good to know if the sensor stops...

Do you have a 197? If so, the keyless entry on the 197 doesn't unlock by pulling the handle, there's a sensor (black plastic) behind the door handle that senses your hand. There is a knack to it, I find some gloves don't work and sometimes needs a little stroke with the palm/inner finger. :kissing:

Yeah I'm going with them or snappy, I'm just wondering which style of trim holds up well over time? The perforated leather looks great but I'm not sure if it's similar to Renault's leather which blisters after a few years.

Has anyone tried rentune's lowered Recaro seat base? Going by the looks, it's a straight swap where you bolt your lower cushion and tilting seatback into their frame, then bolt it onto your runners/the floor. I used a Recaro for a year or so then eventually switched back to the original seat...
