    Tar Stains Removal

I've always used Bilt Hamber Clay, it's great stuff, and you can use water as a lubricant with it (others require a quick detailer as lubricant) but as said tar remover will also help.

Ktec full exhaust, manifold and sports cat

A Y-Pipe replaces the cat, not the flexis, that's why I think you're better off keeping the manifold cat and just fixing the flexis rather than cutting the Akra to just add the second cat surely? As you need a cat for MOT, unless you do what you said about a standard system for MOT. I know your...

Ktec full exhaust, manifold and sports cat

Like what's been said, it won't pass emissions with a decat manifold and Akra, the standard manifold isn't even that restrictive (unless doing high lift cams etc), so personally I would just get another manifold, get flexis sorted and then swap it over, it's what the Akra was made to work with...

Airbag light after swapping to standard seats

It seems it was turned off in CLiP system, so you will need to find someone with CLiP to programme in the extra airbag you've now got.

    The crunchy 197

I've only spannered for a mate at Anglesey and on a roadtrip stopped to watch, always wanted to drive it! Bet it was amazing! What compound V70a were you using? I used hard compound on my E36 and actually loved them (but never had the tread problem you have!)

    Clio 197 (Nimbus Grey)...Attempt #2

So I've been doing bits on the car getting ready for roadtrip, cambelt is booked on 21st with RS Four Ashes, I've diagnosed the rear ABS problem as the typical stub axle ABS plate, so contacted Paul from RPD for a few bits. Then today I went to change my sump gasket, everything was going fine...

    Camber tops

You're most likely going to go for full caster (it's not like it has loads of caster adjustment on the top mounts) so that is easy to just push all the way across. It's how I had it on my E36 track car, I didn't enlarge the holes as once your camber is set, you will not be touching it (as like I...

    Camber tops

You only have 1 on each side just to adjust, once you have set the camber you lower top mount and put the other one back in, then you just double check it hasn't moved. Also I thought you had it setup? If so you shouldn't be adjusting it after setup, as it will change toe also.

    best wheel offset? (ultraleggera)

Even though the Autec's are not as wide, due to offset being lower it will actually poke out more than the OZ's (by 3.7mm more than the OZ wheels). Also if you are lowering the car 40mm you most likely will get rubbing on both setups (unless your setup is a lot stiffer).

    The crunchy 197

Looking great Nath! Glad you finally put up a thread. Also regarding people who indicate to give way but carry on accelerating, really gets on my tits! Will be class with the airbox on!

    Catback causing EML?

As said above by both, ABS problems won't be scanned by most Bluetooth dongles, as mine just flashed up and I had it checked via CLiP (it's Renault's diagnostic software). If it's rear ABS it's be either the stub axle bracket corroded (£16) or the ABS ring on the rear disc (£10), sensors don't...

    Lewis's RB Clio 197

Nice camo super duper low mounts! I like them! :tearsofjoy: You just need the steering column lowering mounts to finish it off.

    Brake disc

It's not for the genuineness of the cambelt, it's the way it is done, many mechanics don't know how to do them properly and have ruined engines, don't do too many miles on it, if it isn't timed correctly. But you need to get the CV Boot clip sorted and if you're happy to take a stand the disc...

    Brake disc

My main concern would be the cambelt, they're notorious for people putting them a tooth out, if they don't know 197/200s then I'd be more worried about that than the brake discs, also the cable tie is the nail in the coffin....

    Too much castor

    Technically a 7.5" ET48 pokes more than a 8" ET55 Also I lied...i'm on 21mm spacers, so it's 1.7mm more poke...woah DUB LIFE!

    Too much castor

I've got 20mm spacers (so 7.5" ET48) with 225/45/17...it has some caster, but doesn't his seem really far forward, especially drivers side?
