False economy in my experience your better of buying one that’s done and starting with that it’ll work out so much cheaper than building from fresh , what you can get for 5/6k will cost you 10-12 starting afresh
However if you are doing a few track days then Gaz , bc, (apparently now do for 197/200) or yellowspeed in that 800-1100 quid bracket ,,,,, might be worth going for hmmmmm my b14’s might be for sale soon as possibly a little soft for track use
Had b14’s on for about 1000miles and very impressed with the ride quality, but no matter what you fit it’s very important I think to get them dialed in , 4 wheel alignment and geo set up ie ride height camber caster depending on top mounts etc by someone who knows what they’re doing and who...
Fitted PMS to mine and they are spot on , also had car set up at tuned uk in Wrexham , money well spent for a bespoke set up , Richard really knows his stuff regarding 4 wheel alignment and dialing in the geo to your own requirements ,
Yes thanks all in hand to cut a long story short got a customer who comes in and runs a classic car restoration business spent his apprenticeship as a gearbox rebuilder as it happens , doesn’t do them normally but doing mine however hes the one who talked me into a quaiffe etc cat cams for the...
Had ad08r’s on track cars in the past which have been great and rs although a different compound now will no doubt be ok with about 160 wheel hp, was thinking of PS4’s as good road tyre and wet track day tyre
I’ll set up similar looking at all the useful information,
I’ve got a set of ad08rs tyres to go on but hear the PS4’s are impressive especially in the wet so will probably end up getting some I think , have you been on track with them ?
