At the moment, in the box in my garage! However, I am booked in at TwoTechs on 15th November for a service and to have the springs fitted and geo done accordingly - I will update when it’s done and I’ve had a couple of decent drives.

That’s excellent, I’ve noticed their prices seem to go up and down almost randomly every few days, and it’s a case of gambling as to which point they’re at when you order!

Just ordered a set of Eibachs from Autodoc at £142 delivered with a discount code. Reckless not to at that price!

Left it a few hours, came back and….success! Rubber mallet, small piece of wood and it suddenly moved. Old one with the deteriorating glass, and new one to go on and all back together

Cheers. I’m having another go at this at the moment and the ba**ard mirror is not budging from the mount. I’m sure a bit of WD40 would help if I could get it in the right place without spreading it everywhere!

Ok that’s useful to know thanks. The reason I was thinking about it was in case I need to give the alloy mirror stalk a decent whack to get it moving, and launch it into the rain sensor by accident!

I bought a new mirror from RPD as the glass on mine is starting to degrade around the edges. This thread and the diagrams were really useful, and I got the covers off safely and unplugged the main electrical connector. However, there is a smaller black electrical connector behind the mirror...

Good call thank you, looks like they have them for £169. I’ve used Autodoc in the past and if you’re not in a hurry for delivery they do seem decent.

Great feedback all, I think this could be the way forward for me in due course. That’s a good price above, although mine’s a late car so different ones needed. Ktec have them at £226 at the moment, which is still usefully cheaper than OEM cup springs.
