Yeah it's not a bad shed tbh. It's harsh enough on stock cup suspension! Possible Eibachs in the future.

It's a relative unknown for me, and so the potential hidden running costs are off putting. Pretty much decided on an R26 now.

They're fun, no doubt about that - took mine out to the peaks a few weeks back and enjoyed it. But the performance per £ when you factor in its fuel economy, servicing costs and consumables isn't brilliant in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love the character, but it does feel underpowered...

Cheers for the review there - insurance is far cheaper than the 197 too. I'll be keeping an eye on these for sure. RSTs are ****boxes IMO, unreliable, handle like boats and not great looking. MK2 FRS for my 9k budget? I doubt it somehow ;)

The engine's a gem as you say, aesthetically however they're not very pleasing. Lovely car! From what i've read, finding parts is a nightmare though due to Ford stopping supplying spare parts for them? What are the running costs really like? Why did you sell up for a 200 out of interest?
