If you aren't too bothered with keeping the CD changer then you can use a connects2 device that effectively becomes the changer but with masses more tracks and it's all done through the steering wheel controls. Messing about with the i-pod is no less dangerous than using the phone whilst driving.

Based on you lot's responses I've been out and tried to get my light to flash just in case the bulb has gone; it hasn't. That's twice now.

Sambo, take this the right way but if you get chance to 'test' a members motor avoid the shift light. Is it a shift light or over-rev indicator? I'd say overpriced. I was recently planning on selling my red FF 197 (57 reg) with 20k for £9500. Those seem too high for year/mileage.

I have the connects2 tucked up inside the CD player cavity with the cable coming through the ready made hole. I am able to sandwich my ipod between the hooks that are on the fold down Glove box door.

Good question, I just hit 20k in a 57 plate and I'm paranoid about it. However, Iv'e been looking for a second car (MPS 3) and I don't bat an eyelid when I see a 58 plate with 20k on the clock. I suppose when it gets right up there in the 80's plus it might be something to think about.

Based on this I just got a quote for £307 for my 197 (57 plate). That's £146 cheaper than my renewal with DL. Jaxx, I owe you one.

I'd say that was about 1k overpriced.
